A Nice Sunny Day

The sun finally decided to show itself!
After so many long days of freezing temperatures,
we are now having some warmer days.
Yesterday it was 72 degrees here.

I had to go to Atlanta, so on our way home I called
my grandson, he was just leaving his college classes.
We met him in town and had lunch.

It's a very pretty town, still with the 'old town' look but well kept up! The sun was shining so nice and warm. This is the train depot.

But I do want to share with you today, my pansy teacup!
I saw many pansies in bloom on our trip but it wasn't where
I could get a photo of them, so my cup will have to do for now.

It has a back stamp, but it is so small I couldn't get a good photo of it.
It says  "Duchess, fine bone china,England, Est.1885"

I love the bright colors, and gold trim.
Along with it I had to have desert and tea.

This is cheese cake with strawberries and whipped cream, we brought home from Longhorn's. My was it good and huge!

Have a Blessed Day!

Sylvia

Love the pansy china cup. Pansies and violas are some of my favourite flowers.

Your weather sounds delightful, my friend. We are supposed to get some cold temperatures tonight and after having a month of temperatures in the 40's and 50's it will probably seem even colder.

Your Pansy tea cup is quite beautiful and so perfect for Spring! And that cheescake looks divine - have a slice for me :) Thanks for sharing at Roses of Inspiration. Hugs to you!

Right now I'm at the air port ready to fly to Arizona to be with my parents for a couple of weeks and it's breakfast time, so your cake picture hit me. Yum! :-)
Have a beautiful blessed day

We have a bright sunny day too but the snow we got yesterday is blowing around and they had to cancel school again. I'm sure the children are all enjoying these snow days. Your pansy teacup is very sweet, Sylvia, and oh my, that cheesecake looks decadent! The train depot looks very quaint. I would love to travel down that way some day. Thank you for sharing and joining me for tea.

Blessings,
Sandi

How nice that you got to spend time with your grandson! Those are always treasures to keep. I can't believe you are having warm temps there. It has been cold and snowy here for weeks. I am soooo ready for a warm beach! I'm hoping our Spring like warm weather will arrive soon and all this mud we have will dry back up. I am very thankful however for all this much needed moisture!

I love your tea cup- Pansies are my all time favorite flower! Beautiful!

Have a lovely day, Sylvia!

Hugs,
Amy
