Go and Do!

We just celebrated Easter,
the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I often wonder about those that followed Jesus as he taught and preached.
How alone they must have felt after he ascended into heaven.

There are times when we may feel alone as believers.
We wonder , what next!
We pray and study God's word and seek his purpose for our life.
We may feel inadequate to tell others about what he has done for us.
Remember God told Moses to go to Egypt,
and  deliver the enslaved Israelites form bondage.

Moses said he wasn't a good speaker to send someone else.
Isn't that just like us, we would rather someone else do, serve or go.
What God told him can be our encouragement also.

"Now Go, I will help you speak and will teach you what to say"
Exodus 4: 12

It only takes a willing heart to serve God.
With faith and trust in Him, he will help us.
We can accomplish his purpose.
He will always be by our side...
...always.

Good Morning, Sylvia. Thank you for a great reminder in today's post. I guess you had the same rain we did yesterday. Take care and enjoy your Monday.

That is so true, Sylvia. It only takes a willing heart but sometimes we are afraid to be open to it. Hope you have a great week, my friend. xo Diana

A great message this morning. We should always call on Exodus 4:12 so we can share God's Word wherever we go. We should be so filled with love for Him and the blessings of the Spirit that we cannot keep silent. I love Psalm 96:3. “Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.” Hope your day is happy and blessed.

True. We need a willing heart and to stay tuned to God so that we can see others as He sees them. Have a wonderful week.

I always like the expression - God doesn't send the equipped. He equips those He sends." I can just imagine how the disciples felt after Jesus ascended. At least the Holy Spirit came soon after. Have a great day.

Yes! This is so good. We need to be the light in this dark world. One kind word can change someone's entire day!

I hope you have a delightful week, Sylvia!

Hugs,

Hi Sylvia, I enjoyed reading your post and people often need to be reminded that God is there for them. They need to open up their hearts.
