BLESSED BIRTHDAY

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
I Thessalonians 5;18

Saturday was my birthday.  I was so blessed and thankful to have my family with me for the day.  I had told my girls not to buy me gifts, just that they  spend the day, was all I wanted.  They arrived  around 9 o'clock Saturday morning, gave their daddy some money and told him to take me to breakfast.  After we ate we did a little shopping for a couple things.  While we were gone they started cleaning my house for me.  They didn't want me to do anything, so I just sat there and relaxed.  (I could get use to this.)

Of course they had to give me "a little something" so they said.
Knowing I enjoy tea, they gave me a teacup with hydrangea's on
it. Cookies and other goodies.

These are the best cookies, "Belgian Almond Thins" and "Dark Chocolate Petit Beurre Biscuits".  This morning I had it with my Twining English Breakfast Tea.

My daughter gave me this pretty photo frame, now to find three photo's to fit in it of the three generations.

I also received in the mail, today from my sweet friend Stephanie, over at The Enchanting Rose  this pretty magnet she made and a tag with a teapot stamped on it and on the back it says Tea Party. She is so talented, you must go over and check out her blog, that is if you haven't already discovered her.  She makes the cutest cards.

I also received this set of cards in the mail from my friend Cindy, over at Letters from Midlife .  She takes her pictures and makes her own cards, they are always so pretty.  Please check out her blog also.

Thanks so much ladies for your thoughtfulness!

Hope you all have a Blessed Day!
(I sure did)

What a thoughtful family to give you so many wonderful gifts especially cleaning the house. The pretty cup caught my eye for it is lovely in the photo. The thoughtful gifts from your friends adds to your special day. Glad you had a terrific birthday and thanks for visiting my blog!

Such wonderful friends and family! You truly are a blessed "Grandma", Mother, and friend. I am so happy that you had a such lovely birthday. Love the tea cup and other sweet gifts. The housecleaning gift would be something I'd be thrilled to have! Although my hubby does clean the floors now and does a lot of the cooking during the week since I still work and he is retired. But I can't seem to get him to dust or clean bathrooms. If I could just train him to do those chores, I'd be in hog heaven! LOL Happy Birthday again, dear sweet friend.

Happy Birthday just a little late. You have good family and friends to gift you such wonderful items. Things that just make you smile. That's the things I love to get, smiling gifts.
