Thursday"s Blessings

I love butterflies, they make me think of
rebirth, they start out as a cocoon then turn
into this beautiful butterfly.
Before we are born again into the family of God,
we too are ugly on the inside, full of our sinful ways...then God transforms us into something beautiful inside that reflects His son, Jesus Christ.
When we allow Him to guide us and obey His Spirit, we can have the best of His will.

Have a Blessed Day!

Good Morning

My days are spent doing household chores
and seeing to the needs of my hubby.
He has good days and not so good days.
I was looking for a photo to post today and
ran across this one.  I knew at once it was
the right verse for me, since I have been seeking
God's ways. I admit I get somewhat impatient
with him at times.

This morning my Bible devotion was:

1 Samuel 18:14
"And David behaved himself wisely in all
his ways, and the Lord was with him."

In all my seeking there were times I didn't
act wisely. I have and do pray for wisdom
to show love to those around me, especially
my hubby.
Godly wisdom and understanding
is worth more than silver and gold!

Have a Great Memorial Day Weekend!

Friday Photo's

Good Morning, hope you have a great weekend!
Along with taking care of household chores and
taking my hubby to a couple of hospitals for
test after having a couple of TIA's , I've been
working in my flower bed, but overdoing it, and it's HOT, in the 90"s.
Guess I just need to enjoy what I've done and
let it be "finished".

I sat down for a few minutes to rest, and had a visitor.

On the way to church, had to stop for the geese
to cross the road, they're always in the road in our neighborhood.

Flowers for Mother's Day

Saturday before Mother's Day, my 3 daughter's
took me to a Tea Room for lunch. We all enjoyed
our time together for about 2and a half hours.
My daughter, Gina, gave me a pot of Daises. I
love flowers and Daises are one of my favorites.

The love we receive on any day is wonderful, somehow Mother's Day is extra special. The love my girls and grandchildren gives me through gifts and cards, I treasure. Soon the gifts are used are put away and the flowers pedals fall off, the love in my heart is still there and the memories last.

During my Bible devotion this morning I was reminded of God's love for us that never fails, fades or goes away. It last forever. My spirit was
somewhat unsettled in me as I woke this morning.
This was my Bible verse as I turned to the page in my devotional book.

Isaiah 4:8
"The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever."

It's so wonderful and calming to my soul and Spirit when God speaks to me from His word,
the Bible, and it's amazing how His timing is always right on time for our needs. I can go
today knowing I am kept by His love that never
fails or fades like the flowers.

Have a Blessed Day!

HAPPY FIRST DAY of May and More

Good Morning!
Happy 1st day of May!

It's been awhile since I have blogged.
I've been busy taking care of my hubby
and attending a Bible Study Group. It
has truly blessed me and I got to meet
some ladies from church I hadn't met
before.

My granddaughter, Morgan,
moved to Gatlinburg, Tn. several
weeks ago.

She's enrolled in the nursing program at
Walter's State College. This is a photo
of it.

She loves the mountains.

When she isn't looking for a job, she rambles around enjoying the scenery.  She found these
geese and even named them, Roy and Marilyn.

Look at the babies, they were just born and she
was surprised to find them in the road and not
in the water.

Yesterday she was coming home and found
a mama bear and her cubs in the road where
she lives. Thankfully she stayed in the car.

I miss seeing her often, but we text everyday or so.  God has great plans for her life. I am so
proud of her. She took these photo's and gave
me permission to use them.

Have a Blessed Day!
