Excited for the New Year!

Good Morning, hope everyone had a
great Christmas! It was very blessed
for myself and my family, this year
we had a new member to our family.
My great grandson,
 Jase Cannon Wilson!
He really enjoyed playing with the
wrapping paper. He's 5 months now.

He loves his picture taken and always smiles!

This year Hubby and I have had health issues
and lots of ups and downs. Looking for the
New Year to be filled with God's blessings!

Be Happy and I'll see you next year!

The Little Drummer Boy

I love the song "The Little Drummer Boy"

He came to the stable to see the baby Jesus, the Christ child. He had no gift to give him, so he gave the baby the one thing he had. He played
his drum for him.

Like the poor widow in Luke 21:1-5,
who gave the last 2 pennies she had as an
offering. They both gave their all to Jesus.

"And he said, Of a truth I say unto you,
that this poor widow hath cast in more than
they all."
Luke 21:3

Today we may be poor and needy, but we
can give of our talents, we can give our all
to Jesus. He gave his all for us on the cross,
He gave himself, his life out of love for us.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ
this Christmas, may we remember His gift
to us..His birth and His death on the cross!

Today I pray that I can give my all to Him
out of Love!

Merry Christmas

On this Friday before Christmas, I am
praying everyone is filled with the joy
of it and it's meaning.

Behold, the virgin shall be with child,
and bear a Son, and they shall call
His name Immanuel, which is translated,
"God with us."
Matthew 1:23

Jesus came to bring to us the presence of God.
We are called to share this with others. Jesus
made that clear when He said, "As the father
has sent Me, I also send you." (John 20:21)
Let our lives reflect God in us, when we do
this we can be different from the world and
this difference can bless others with His
transforming presence of His Love and
Grace.

His Spirit fill my hungering soul,
His power all my life control,
My deepest prayer, my highest goal,
That I may be like Jesus.
--Chisholm

Let us give the gift of His presence in us
to the world. Let His light shine today in
our hearts and actions.

Have a Very Merry and Christ filled,
Christmas!

HOPE FOR SKEPTIC'S

This time of year for us that believe
the true meaning of Christmas, is a
miraculous time. A time when the
miracle of Jesus Christ birth is celebrated.

There are some that doubt that, they have
a different reason for this, they don't
believe God speaks to us. I know personally
that He speaks to me through my spirit. I
am convicted when I do wrong and at
times before I even do it, I have this
urging that this isn't right for me.

It may be that some are reluctant to believe
is, they feel they're unworthy of forgiveness.
Sometimes we just don't want to admit
that we do wrong. We can have forgiveness
and renewed life.

That life, is faith in the reason for Jesus
Christ birth. His mercy and grace. He came
to DIE--- for us!
At times we are our own harshest judge.
If we read His word, the Bible,
he will make sure it accomplishes His purpose.

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my
mouth, it shall not return unto me void, but
it shall accomplish that which I please, and
it shall prosper in the thing where to I sent it.'
Isaiah 55:11

God speaks to us through His word. His
willingness to forgive surpasses our own.
When we learn this, we realize we can
and do hear God speak to our own hearts.
It is easier to believe He hears us when we
cry out to him.

My prayer today for those that find it hard
to believe, is that God's Holy Spirit, reaches
down and touches their hearts and they find
that Christmas isn't just for pretty lights and
gifts, but the one TRUE gift of Jesus Christ
birth!

Have a Blessed Sunday
and
Christmas Season!

MORE THAN ENOUGH

This is always my prayer when I do a
Blog post.

At Christmas and other occasions, when
my family gets together, we all prepare for
the meal. We make a menu of what we'll have
each to bring. Of course, we worry there
won't be enough, so often we'll make something
extra to bring. There's always "more than
enough".
We have a God that is abundant in consistently
"More than enough" to meet our needs. He is
generous in his love for us.  Undeserving as
we are, he blesses us!

"Who redeemeth thy life from destruction,
who crowneth thee with loving kindness
and tender mercies."
Psalm 103:4

I was amazed this morning when I opened
my Daily Bible Study book and saw the
title..  "More than Enough"
Yesterday my nephew, on facebook,
 posted only one sentence
"When will I ever be enough!".
He's going through a test of  his faith, I believe.
It touched my heart, for I love this young man.
It isn't for us to be enough,  God is Enough!
He is always there waiting for us to come to Him!
When God is our supply we have and are enough.

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly
abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us."
Ephesians 3:20

God's love and grace in our lives enables us
to share with others. Our God is power and
provides "more than enough".
Let's keep our focus on Him who is enough.

Praise, my soul, the King of Heaven;
To His feet your tribute bring.
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Evermore His praises sing.

Have a Blessed Day!

Hallelujah, Put me back together

I love this song by The Afters, I hope you can
click on it to hear it. I'm not sure how to put
it on here, this is the only way I could.

Oh well, I couldn't get it to work, but if you
go to youtube, you can hear it.

Isn't it a blessing when you get up each
morning and your Daily Devotion Bible
study is exactly what you need for that day!
This happens to me about every day now.
God is working in our lives, we just need
to seek Him, He is always waiting to hear
for us.

As I have posted before and those who know me
are aware of the ups and downs my hubby and I
have been through this year. Highs and Lows.
He has always been there to hold me up!

"For God has not given us a Spirit of  fear, but
one of power, love and sound judgement."
2 Timothy 1:9

I don't always remember this,
when I am convicted of something I've done, I tend to condemn myself. This verse reminds me
God is always with me and tells me to come
to Him and remember He's with me and able
to fix my mess and put me back together.
There is Grace for my "mess",
The more we are broken the more His light
can shine through.

"Thank you Lord, for your grace that puts
me back in your light."
Amen

Have a Blessed Wednesday!

Strength and Blessings

This morning as I had my Prayer time and Bible
study, I felt the Lord's presence, His love filled my heart. I also was reminded how this year has been for myself and my husband. We have endured trying times in our health and our relationship. Our God hasn't left our side at anytime, He is always faithful.

"Who in heaven do I have but you? And I desire
nothing on earth but you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, my portion forever."
Psalm 73:25-26

Time is important in so many ways to us,
I am aware of it passing by as this year
is nearing the end and another to begin.
I pray that each of us will examine our
lives and seek Him that is in control of
all our coming and goings.

"Those who know your name trust in you
because you have not abandoned those
that seek you, Lord."
Psalm 9:10

Many gifts will be bought and placed under
the tree at Christmas.
Let's give the most important gift of all,
God's LOVE to us,
let's share His Love with other's.

"Lord I want to know you more each day,
and I want to trust you in deeper ways.
Thank you for hearing me when I pray."
Amen

Blessings,

December A Month of Giving

December is here already!
This year has gone by so fast!
Christmas will soon be here,
so lets remember to open our
hearts to all those around us,
and bless someone today!

God is waiting in the silence
As the world goes rushing by,
Will not someone stop and listen
Answer quickly, "Here an I"?
