A Cup of Friendship

Good Day Ladies!

It's been awhile since I posted, with  her permission
I do want to share my new teacup that my
friend Debbie over at
sent me for my birthday.
Thank you so much, you dear sweet Lady!

As I sit here at my computer compiling my post,
I am so thankful today for all you ladies that
have come to mean so much to me. You certainly
are a blessing to this old  lady!

Just when I needed a boost, this is what I received
in the mail .
This beautiful cup and loose leaf tea.
The Pu-Erh Tea is from her own state of Colorado.
I looked it up on the internet a theteaspot.com and this is what I found. "aged and fermented pu-erh tea enjoys the good reputation of weight loss tea and heart-health tea as it cuts through fat and decreases cholestorial."  I'll be drinking this everyday, as I need it for my weight and heart!
It's an organic black tea and the flavor is very tasty.
The label says it's ingredients are:
Black Tea
Pu-Erh Tea
Mallow Flowers
and
Dark Chocolate Flavoring
Sugar free and Gluten free

I have enjoyed it with Boston Creme Cake
and

Club Crackers (they are my favorite cracker)

The back stamp says it's from
'Grace Teaware'
I just love the pretty lavender flowers
and the design of the cup and saucer.
Now I think I'll make myself another cup:

Have a Blessed Day!
Sylvia

I'll be joining:

What a beauty! Purple is my favourite colour so I love the teacup's pretty lavender design. I also like how the Tea Spot tin matches it perfectly!

The tiny lavender flowers on your teacup and saucer are so dainty! Grace teaware has so many pretty patterns but I like the shape of this cup and saucer. It is so wonderful to learn of different tea and your information. Hope you have a great week and will take a peek at my post this week!

I love "Roses of Inspiration" too....and Debbie and Stephanie! Your blogs express the simple joy of being alive in the Lord. It is so pleasant to visit places like that!
The gift tea cup is beautiful. I enjoy coffee in mugs with art work by my grand sons. Like your experience, there is nothing that tastes better!

Sylvia,

It's always so lovely to have you drop in at Lawn Tea, and I think we might almost be Birthday Twins. What a beautiful gift, and how much you're going to enjoy it for years to come.

Thank you for your sweet comment on my wisteria poem.

That's such a beautiful cup I'd be afraid to use it. I would lock it up in a safe cabinet where the sunlight wouldn't touch it and it would not get chipped, dropped, or broken. It would be very sad.

Hello Sylvia, this showed up on facebook so I came over for a visit. I do see the post is from 2015 but it's new to me. That is a lovely tea cup and I'm sure you enjoyed the tea that Debbie sent with it....mallow flowers? I've never heard of them. Hope all is well with you, sending ((hugs)) across the miles!!
