Friday Foto Friends and Blog Cookies

We have been getting lots of rain this week
and are told we may get lots more by Monday!

My hubby and I just drove to the road in the
county where we moved from 2 years ago.
This is the waterfall that the creek is on, it flows
under the bridge.

The creek is called "Ten Mile Creek".
It is overflowing!

Now about the cookies, no it's not the kind you eat!

When I clicked to do my post, a notice came up about European laws and cookies. It said something about I had to let my readers know about it. Now I don't know or understand what they are talking about, but I can tell you that my computer is cleaned daily on a regular bases of all unnecessary cookies.
I consider it told, hope this is enough. I am not a computer genius and don't know all the in's and out's of it! If someone does know what they are
talking about, would you enlighten me.

So far now I will link up with :

Have a Blessed Day!

I don't know about the notice...I've seen that for a long time...today I received notice that Networked blogs is no longer available...not sure if you used that or not. Always something changing. I just hope blogspot never deserts us!! We'd be in trouble for sure!! I hope you will be safe with all the water...more on the way, for us too. Have a blessed and safe weekend.

Scary when rivers fill up and overflow! Great photos.
You need to test your blog to be sure that the request for European standards shows up.
You do this by inserting this into your browser :
http://agrandmasblessing.blogspot.co.uk
the .com is replaced by .co.uk which will show you your own blog as it appears to Europeans.
This will show you how your blog looks on a European browser.
What you are looking for is a sign that will appear at the top telling the visitor that your site collects cookies.
European law requires that all websites have an announcement. Since we are in America the sign only shows up in European sites. So to see if your sign shows up you must visit your own site in European mode which I showed you how to do above.
"Cookies are messages that web servers pass to your web browser when you visit Internet sites. Your browser stores each message in a small file, called cookie.txt . When you request another page from the server, your browser sends the cookie back to the server."

I agree with Annie. I got that notice today too. I checked mine with .fr at the end (they suggested either) and the notice came up at the top of page.

Hope you have a great day!

Morning Sylvia. I too agree with Annie as I saw the notice too. I too clean out cookies constantly. Have a day of blessings my friend.

Thanks to your reader who left a comment explaining the cookies.
Glad you and your husband could get out for a drive. We rode around Helen and Batesville today. We were in and out of rain and the Soquee River was flowing rapidly over the rocks. It seems that most holiday are rainy! God bless your weekend.

just wanted to suggest that you hard print your blog yearly into book form. that is what i do and then it will be there for my grandkids to find and read someday, even if the pages goes down. i use 'cutest blog on the block' to do that.

Me too Debby, I hope we can figure this out, not receiving emails of comments!

I'm not either!
I used to get emails when someone commented on my blog.
Now, I'm not.
Thank you for mentioning it!
Let me know if you find anything out, pease. : )

You made me laugh about those cookies!

I hope the water doesn't get deep enough to do damage. As for the cookies, when I see anything about them, I just click 'accept' and go on my way. Anybody that knows anything about computers know that cookies are used on every site, so I don't see what the problem is.
