Thursday"s Blessings

I love butterflies, they make me think of
rebirth, they start out as a cocoon then turn
into this beautiful butterfly.
Before we are born again into the family of God,
we too are ugly on the inside, full of our sinful ways...then God transforms us into something beautiful inside that reflects His son, Jesus Christ.
When we allow Him to guide us and obey His Spirit, we can have the best of His will.

Have a Blessed Day!

I love that verse, it has always been one that I 'lean' on. Thank you.

Yes, we are much like those butterflies...ugly when still encased in sin, but when Jesus sets us free we are free indeed...and beautiful like the butterfly! What a beautiful post today. Thank you.

I have always loved and appreciated this verse. I've known it for many years. I am fond of butterflies too, Sylvia. They are hard to take a picture of though, as they flutter about quickly.

Have a restful Friday and weekend.

I just finished a book that reminded me of the cocoon story and I journaled it into my book - that is a God Wink for sure.

I saw the prayer request on Diana'a blog for your husband. I said a quiet prayer for him, Sylvia. Sending comforting thoughts and love to you.

I will never look at a butterfly the same way again.
Such a beautiful analogy.

I hope you have a wonderful Summer!
Praying for both you and your husband.

Hugs,
Amy
