BREAK TIME

Every now then we get a little tired and need a break. It's time for me to take a much needed break and allow myself to relax and enjoy living. In order to share life we first must have to live it.
I have had a lot going on in my life behind the scenes of my blog,I thought maybe I should rest a while and return later.

I enjoy Porch Sitting , rocking in my rocker!
I hope to do a lot of this.

Find time to do some of the things I enjoy,
sitting by the lake listing to the birds singing.

Maybe, just maybe visit the ocean and take a walk in the sand.

Visit some of my favorite small towns and shop the Antique stores there.

And of course, enjoy a lot of this!

I will visit when I can and hope to return soon.

Being Still

Being Still and waiting is hard for me to do,
and I think God is trying to teach me this.
Have you ever thrown away something that
was important, thinking you don't need it?
I have, twice now.....if I had only
1. Stopped and waited
                       2. Listened to that enter voice
                       3. Trusted my enter voice

Maybe just maybe I would still have those
important items that I discarded.
Lessons are hard to learn sometimes.
I have to keep this verse ever so close
and repeat it over and over.

Psalm 37:7
Be Still before the Lord
and wait patiently
for him.

His timing is always "right on time"!

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Potted Flowers and More!

It's Friday Foto Friends Day!

Wasn't it Friday just the day before yesterday?
Wow, another week gone by.

I am loving the warm weather and getting to be outside and pot more flowers. This week I have been busy at the plant nursery.

Here are a few.

These are the flower pots my daughter gave me for Mother's Day. She always knows what I need!

Happy Mother's Day

Favour is deceitful,
and beauty is vain;
but a woman that
feareth the Lord,
she shall be praised,

Friday Foto Friends

Friday already!
My how time flies when you're having fun!
This week I got to visit with one of my younger sisters, Linda. She has been working in her yard planting flowers.

Here is a Wheel Barrel full of them.

Her pretty Iris, White and Purple.

The yellow Iris is mine from last year.
I have planted some this year and they are
blooming.

Have a Blessed Day!

Tiny Flowers Bouquet and Sweet Honeysuckles

I always love when my grandchildren come for a visit. Yesterday I was blessed with 3 of them, and their mothers.
While sitting on the front porch enjoying the pretty weather and talking, my granddaughter Morgan, gets up and goes into the yard and starts picking up something off the ground. I asked her what was she doing and she said, "picking tiny flowers".

This is what she ended up with. She never ceases to bless my life. As she was growing up, I would always find little notes she left for me to find, when she came for a visit. They usually said, "Morgan was here" or "Morgan loves Grandma". Awe such a blessing!  Yes, I am that kind of Grandma that keeps these sweet notes!

Here are the flowers she was picking.

 Pink ones...

White ones

I don't really know what kind they are or if they are weeds but I like to think of them as Wildflowers.

Well today our Lawn Care guy came to cut our grass. This is what it looks like now. All the tiny flowers are gone.  I had just enough time to take the above photo's before he arrived just 10 minutes later.

Look what dropped by to gather what it could find in the freshly cut grass.

Isn't it cute.......Love Redbirds!

Growing on the fence (and up the tree) on the property line or honeysuckles. This morning my hubby and I was sitting on the patio listening to the birds sing, the sweetest aroma came drifting through the air. Yes, it was the honeysuckles!

According to the internet, the honeysuckle is a wildflower that grows from 4ft to 10 ft. We have both sizes. The bees, birds, and butterflies love the nectar from it. As a child and as an adult I have pulled the stem and sucked the nectar out, it is good...now you have done the same thing, right!

Here it is growing along the fence.

Until next Time
Have a Blessed Day!
