Hello blogging friends. Another week in this month. The days come and go. I have missed everyone, Hope your days are good ones.
Just a short update.
I have spent time, front porch sitting.
Enlarging my flower garden, they are mostly in pots. That will have to be another day's post, for I haven't edited the photo's yet.
(reminder:find time to do that)
My grandson and his dad got home on Saturday from a mission trip in Guatemala. JC is almost 14 and was really blessed by the people there. They built a church in 6 days. There were 25 from church that went.
When they finished building, they all prayed over it!
I went to a day lily festival with two of my sister's. I bought this pretty day lily.
I hope you are enjoying these pretty days, although some days are really too hot to be outside. High today is 90, but it's still a good day to have a good day!
Be Blessed!
Untill next time,
Sylvia

So happy to see what you've been up to in your little break from blogging! Love seeing that you are happy and that things are going well in your new home and family. Love your little front porch and rockers. Enjoy your summer, and try to stay cool!
Sylvia, What an experience for your grandson. This is something he will never forget. I am sure he saw many who had very little while there also. I love your porch and the views. Your new flowers are very nice. Stay cool. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
One of our grandgirls went last summer and she so loved it.
What a pretty front porch....
What an amazing, wonderful thing to do at 14!
How lovely! My favorite photo is the one where they are praying over the church. That brought tears to my eyes. What a great adventure in life and faith to be able to go on a mission trip at 14! Nice to have your back.
You truly have a green thumb, Ms. Sylvia. So proud of your son and grandson. Our church does mission work in Guatemala, too, and a group goes each year to minister and witness and build there. HOPE you have a great rest of the day!
Love the color of that day lily, I don't think I've ever seen one like that. My girlfriend just gave me some potatoes from her potato vine, hope to get them in the ground in a day or two. Your front porch looks very inviting, a great place to sit and enjoy the day.
It's always such a joy to visit you, my friend. How I would love to join you on your front porch {{smiles}} Your Day Lily is quite beautiful - LOVE the color of it.
Take care, dear one, and enjoy these last days in June. Love to you!
They built a church in 6 days! God bless them and those who will worship in the newly built church.
Some of my grandchild have a grandmother who lives there and grandfather and other family my granddaughter went a year ago to visit. She said it was a very different life. So nice they went to build a church. Glad your relaxing I always wished I had a pourch. With love Janice
That's so awesome about your son and his son - I have a good friend who was in the Peace Corps in Guatemala. He ended upstaying, fell in love and married there. Now he works as a professor at Univ of Michigan and slowly moved her entire family here.
Your grand is very handsome and this is a great opportunity for him! Wow- what a great thing, mission work - God bless him and all those involved! hugs.
