October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but for us that has had someone near and dear to us with breast cancer, we are always aware of the effects of it.  It's hard for me to talk about it, It always brings tears to my eyes.  September 2,1980 my mother lost her battle with it  and  passed away just 2 months before she would have turned 61.  But praise God she is with Him in heaven and is free from all the hurts and pain.  I want to honor her, she taught me to have faith and always strive to live a life that would please God.  I was so blessed to have her as my Mother.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mothers sounds amazing! And thank you for bringing notice to the October Breast Cancer month. Even my husband has been wearing a lot of pink this month. I have a couple of friends that are fighting this disease. Thoughts and prayers daily. I love your beautiful "pink" cup with the awesome gold feet.
Hugs, Brenda

Dear Sylvia,
This is such an awful sickness. I lost a very good friend some years ago to breast cancer.
Your mother was taken at a very young age. You loved her well..
A very lovely post
Your teacup is most fitting.

Your footed cup is pretty, and hopefully brings fond memories of your late mother.

Hello Sylvia,
Your mother was so young and I'm sorry you lost her so soon. I lost my sister when she was 58 years old. Your teacup is gorgeous.
