CELEBRATING!

Wednesday was my hubby's last treatments for his throat cancer!
The staff got together and gave him a party!
No food, just fun and laughter!

That's our son-in-law blowing bubbles with the nursing staff. He is the pharmacist for the Cancer Center.  He loves to have a good time, the funny little stuff animal on the table is singing "Wild Thing"

It's so good not to have to go everyday. The drive was so tiring.
Curt's happy not to need more treatments, but it will be a few more weeks before they can find out if it's all gone. Praying it has! Thanks for every prayer and email I received during this journey. God has been with us all the way, praising Him daily!

"Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid,
nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you
wherever you go" Joshua 1:9

Have a blessed weekend!

So happy for both of you! I know this is a big relief. Praying that it has done the job and that Curt will be totally healed of this disease and you can resume your enjoyment of the things you love to do together.

Dear Sylvia,
So happy for you both! I will continue to pray for healing. I know a little of what you mean about a drive every day to treatments. My husband had nine full weeks of radiation therapy this past winter. We were so relieved when the treatments were passed and we could concentrate on our daily routine and his health, instead of the long trek to the appointments. Blessings and lots of hugs and prayers. Wishing you much Sunshine in the days ahead, Valerie

What a praise to the Lord, Sylvia! Rest up now as you wait for the results to come, and allow the Lord to strengthen you both. To God be the glory for going through this journey with Him in the center of it all. :)
My prayers will continue for the you and your dear family.
Joy in the Lord! Debbie
