Monkey Bread ---recipe

Sunday was my grandson, Johnathan's18th birthday. We had his party with the family at my home.  He also graduated from high school on May 23rd. So amongst everything else there has been blessings. (we are blessed everyday)

I made Monkey Bread. If you haven't tried it, you must. It's easy to make and taste like cinnamon roll. Everyone loves it.

I'll post the recipe at the bottom!

Here he is after graduating. Next comes College in August.

My daughter bought him a birthday cookie.

Here's the recipe

Monkey Bread

2 cans Grands flaky Biscuits
1-1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 cup chopped pecans

Spray Bundt pan with cooking oil and then pour in the chopped pecans.  Cut the biscuits in quarters. Place sugar and cinnamon in a large ziploc bag and shake biscuit quarters till coated, and then place in Bundt pan.

Icing

1-1/2 sticks butter
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar (I use light)
1-1/2 tablespoons cinnamon

In saucepan melt butter; then add sugars and cinnamon.  Heat until sugars dissolves and then pour over biscuits. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees until done.
Allow to cool in pan two minutes and then turn over onto serving tray. You can make a icing of confection sugar and cream then drizzle over it after it's cooled.  Yum Yum Good! Enjoy!

Have a Blessed Day!
Sylvia
