Chatter Monday!

Good morning! Want you come in for a visit!
Nothing much going on today.  Just small talk!

I love my guest room, it's where the sun comes shinning in each morning, so bright  and welcoming.

I find myself sitting in the chair next to the window often. It is so calming to have a place where I can enjoy the quiet and the sunrise and light rays shining  in.

Collecting dolls use to be a hobby of mine, but I just enjoying looking at them in the stores now.

Two of my  dolls enjoy it also.
They sit on the bed looking so pretty.
A good friend gave me the one on the right, she passed away a few years ago, and is missed.

Look at those pretty blue eyes on her.

My sister, Linda gave me the one on the left for Christmas several years ago. She actually pugs in and moves her hand and head.

This morning they are waiting for their morning Tea! Have you had yours yet!
No, I haven't turned my pillow sham on the wrong side,
it's a wrinkle where I didn't iron it. I guess I am getting a little forgetful in my 'olden' age!

I hope you are enjoying your day and finding happiness in it.
Thanks for stopping in for a visit, and do come back soon!

Oh Sylvia, how I love your dolls. I love dolls too, I think it's the little girl that's still in our hearts. I didn't even notice the wrinkle, I was so focused on the pretty vignette. But I did scroll back up to take a look after you mentioned it! I know, that's bad...but I wanted to see...not to fret over it, it happens to all of us. I so enjoyed visiting with you this morning, pour me a cup of tea and I'll sit by the window with you. ((hugs)) Did you notice I said tea and not coffee? lol

Your dolls and roses are so pretty, Sylvia.

Hey, if you used PicMonkey you could iron out that wrinkle and no one would ever know! : - )

Have a wonderful and blessed week.

Thank you for sharing your guest room with us. Who knows? Maybe I'll come visit you someday in person! I love your dolls. I have a similar doll to the one on the left, which was given to me for Christmas by my Dad quite a few years ago. She also plugs in and moves her hands. Mine is a redhead, (because I WAS a redhead when I was young). I love your tea set too. Would love to have tea /breakfast in bed in that lovely room! Have a blessed and happy day.

Oh how I love to have the light shinning in the windows, I think my mood is effected when I don't get enough sun, your dolls are so sweet and how special to have one from a friend that has passed, I am sure you have wonderful memories every time you look at her. Beautiful flowers too and there is nothing better than the sun coming up or going down on water, Lovely picture!

A lovely, comforting post. I'm really loving that idea of the what I believe to be a 'no-drip-' gizmo on you pretty teapot. Fabulous idea. Thank-you so much for visiting my blog this morning and enjoy the rest of your week!

What a darling tea with your dollies, Sylvia. It's such fun to still be able to play, isn't it? It means so much to have gifts from loved ones that have passed away. It's like a little piece of them are still with us and a remembrance of their love.
