Photo's of the Week

I've been wanting to get a photo of this barn for the longest time, it sits right next to the road, on the main 4 lane highway between the town I live in and the one where my daughter lives. I pass it every time I go to her house. It is hard to take a photo of it, but my hubby and I was 'out and about' Wednesday so I pulled over onto the side of  the road since there was no traffic.
I love the cross on it!

There's a road to turn off next to it,
 so turned I did!
This is the side of it.

This building sits across the road from it.
It isn't new, it was built several years ago, but was built to look old.

We turned onto another side road and saw this barn.

This is a view of it from the side.
See the tractor by the tree!
I think that's the flag also.

And look my Dogwood tree is blooming!
Isn't it pretty, I just hope the 30+ temperature
this weekend doesn't harm it.

This Dove flew right by me when I took the photo of the Dogwood tree.

It landed in another tree nearby.
It sure looks fat, guess it's been eating good through the winter!

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven"

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Winter just don't want to go away!
Yesterday it was 80 degrees at 4 pm and it's suppose to be  38 degrees Saturday morning.

Linking to Breathing in Grace, Friday Foto Friends, want you join me!

Have a Blessed Day1

It is wild weather, that is for sure! We have had severe thunderstorms all night. Your dogwood tree is so pretty. I love the barns, especially the one with the cross. The little store is very cute, too. The dove almost looks to fat to fly! lol
We love to drive the back roads on pretty days. Wishing you a very nice day. xo

Oh, our crazy weather.... what a non winter we've had till it got to the middle of March! So glad God's in charge and knows what He's doing! Lol Don't you just love old barns? That one with the cross is just lovely. And, I can't believe your dogwood is in full bloom already! Wow! I'm like you, hoping the temps don't kill all the things blooming and budding. Thanks so much for your faithfulness to join the little linky each week. Hope you have a great weekend....keep warm!

I enjoy seeing photos of old barns. There is so much character in each one. The roof of the one with the tractor by it is a style we don't see here in Minnesota. It's interesting how barns and rooflines are different throughout the country.

Hi Sylvia, I love photos of barns old and new. We have many here in my area of upstate New York. Your dogwood is gorgeous. Haven't seen as many as we used here. Have a day of blessings my friend.

Sylvia, Great photos of the barns and the store. You live in an interesting area. I love dogwood trees. We planted one and it lasted one year. I should try again. Blessings to you, hope the weekend is not too cold. xoxo, Susie

Ya, this weather is crazy! I'm thankful for the warmth, but we could really use some moisture here!

I love that red barn and the cross makes it even more inviting. I love the old look of buildings too. It looks as though you had a nice scenic drive with your hubby. Those kind of drives are fun!
Your tree is beautiful! I love the white!

I hope you have a great weekend, Sylvia!

Hugs, Amy

Pretty barn. To me, a barn should always be red. The cross is a nice touch. Did you go into the country store. I would have been so tempted to. I have a couple doves near me and I can hear them cooing. Have a great day.
