It's HERE the first day of Spring! Oh but it's going to turn colder tonight, and more rain, that doesn't sound like the spring I've been waiting on. Oh well, be thankful for it anyway, God sends us what we need and He knows best.
Yesterday, hubby and I went for a ride in the countryside and ended up in Pine Mountain, a small town not far away. I love to shop the stores there. It's one of my favorites towns. We had brunch at the Cafe and Bakery @ The Rose Cottage.
It is really nice inside. My hubby usually doesn't go with me to tearooms, but there is a new owner since he was there and they changed the name to Cafe at the Rose Cottage so he doesn't mind as much, also it helped that there was another man and woman at the next table.
Quiche and veggie soup was my choice and it was good.
The bathroom has to be one of the prettiest I've ever seen!
Can you see the ceiling above the chandelier?
Don't know who the lady is in the picture, guess she's watching over the Ladies Room.
ENJOY SPRING AND MAY YOU BE BLESSED!

Ahhhh Spring! Ahhhhchooo...I've had some sinus/cough/allergies lately...making me not quite up to par...but I am looking forward to spring...even here in Florida, where it doesn't last quite long enough to suit me!
Looks like you had a wonderful day with hubby...love the cafe'...and the bathroom makes me want to go....visit that is! LOL! Thanks for sharing!!!
How nice to have brunch in a sweet place like that in a small town. That is one of my favorite things to do. That is a lovely powder room. I love the color choice and even the portrait of the mystery lady.
Happy Spring,

Brunch....... one of my favorite things.
What a beautiful store front. Love the old brick and turquoise awning.
I love quaint and out of the way shops and cafes. My husband and I like to take day trips after church on Sundays. Makes for a wonderful day.
Happy Spring!
