How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity". Psalms 133:1
" As you would that man should do to you , do also to them likewise" Luke 6:31
We all have differences, but in some ways we are the same. We want to be loved and cared for, we want respect, to be listened to, yet have freedom and opportunities. We need and long to be protected from harm.
Each day as I care for my husband, who is battling throat cancer, I learn more and more about myself. I believe God is showing me some things about myself that has been hidden. We may think we know our hearts but only God truly knows it.
As I sit with my Bible and a cup of tea, I reflect on myself and how I am doing in my service to my
husband and my Lord. Within us our spirit guides us, first we should seek to know God better and then share Him with others. Our wants and needs may be the same as others, so doing for them brings joy and comfort and improves our relationship, as we learn to listen, encourage and forgive.
Walk in love,as Christ has loved us..Ephesians 5:2
Sometimes it's hard to show love when we've been hurt or pushed to our limits by the needs of others. Our Well may run low or dry up. Our need to stay close to God and meditate on His word that we may draw from His well so ours will be full, is important to our relationship with Him and with others. Drawing from His Well, we can share love to others ,for we can't show it out of an empty well.
Oh Lord, fill my Well with
Your Love so I may share it with others! Amen
HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!

I'm moved by this post as you share so honestly from your heart. And what you say is absolutely true. It's through times like this that we learn more about who God is and our capacity to trust him. Praying for you both...
Dear Sylvia, What beautiful thoughts. Sending prayers and hugs your way today. You are an inspiration. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer this past year...it was tough when the tables turned and I was suddenly the caretaker of this strong man, who had taken care of me for so many years. Sending you much love and hugs and prayers for healing. Blessings and Sunshine, Valerie
A beautiful post. Sending up prayers for you and your husband-God Bless.
Thinking of you in prayer. Be sure to take care of yourself, Syl, during this difficult time.
Hugs.
So beautiful, Sylvia. Praying for you, your hubby, and family.
Hugs, Nancy
