New Teacup `~ New Tea

I have a new Teacup that I would like to share with you.
Found it one day while out shopping.
It has Dorchester on the bottom.

I looked it up on the internet and found that it is from the Royal Albert Series from the 1960's and 70'.

I loved it at first sight!

This morning I made Banana nut muffins and added a handful of walnuts to the batter.
Yummy!

Now my granddaughter, Anna, loves Chocolate Mint Tea.
I couldn't find her the one with mint in it, but I did find this
Bigelow Chocolate Chai.  She said it's alright for me to try it first before I give it to her. (she's really sweet)

Well it's ok but not a favorite.  It has species in it but didn't say what kind, and they were a little strong for me.

I think I'll stick to my Earl Gray!

I love that cup, Sylvia. It is really different. I am not big on the flavored teas at all. My family always drank Earl Gray. Hope you had a wonderful day- xo Diana

Isn't the net wonderful? We can find an item, come home, and do a Search on it. And bingo, we know its history!

Mmmmm, Chocolate Chai... I don't think I would really like that either. :-) But then, I'm not someone who appreciates tea. ................ I know! You are gasping! -gigggles-

The muffins look delicious though. Well, if I didn't have to eat Gluten Free. :-)))

What a pretty cup! It looks like it has a lot of gold and a bit of a retro feel since its from the 70s :). Your muffins look very yummy. Chocolate Chai does sound yummy, but I usually have to be pretty careful with the chocolate teas--usually I'm not a huge fan. Isn't it a shame you have to buy a whole box of tea to try it only to find out it isn't a favorite :(? Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I hope you have a great week!

Love your teacup, Syl!

You know Mary D from STS? She adores chocolate teas - and I think Chocolate Mint is one of her favs. I am not a fan so if I acquire some I will save and send for your sweet grand.

I love you are making her into a tea lady. A new generation, yay. Hate it all to fall away unforgotten. Can you imagine what Jane Austen would think of today's young women? I shudder to even think about it.

Hugs and prayers - sorry I have been so absent lately. Family needing me more than normal.

Good Morning Sylvia!

I love the new tea cup! Very pretty! Those muffins sure do look yummy. I have been baking everything pumpkin lately. So glad Fall is approaching (even though it's suppose to be in the 90's today-yikes!)

I'm not much for the Chai teas either. I prefer earl grey or English Breakfast. I do like peach iced tea though. It's rather refreshing!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs to you,
Amy
