I have a new Teacup that I would like to share with you.
Found it one day while out shopping.
It has Dorchester on the bottom.
Found it one day while out shopping.
It has Dorchester on the bottom.
I looked it up on the internet and found that it is from the Royal Albert Series from the 1960's and 70'.
I loved it at first sight!
This morning I made Banana nut muffins and added a handful of walnuts to the batter.
Yummy!
Now my granddaughter, Anna, loves Chocolate Mint Tea.
I couldn't find her the one with mint in it, but I did find this
Bigelow Chocolate Chai. She said it's alright for me to try it first before I give it to her. (she's really sweet)
Well it's ok but not a favorite. It has species in it but didn't say what kind, and they were a little strong for me.
I think I'll stick to my Earl Gray!

Earl Grey is always right, isn't it, Sylvia? Your RA teacup is very pretty and I have never seen one like it before. Your muffins look wonderful and I sure would enjoy one right now with a cup of Earl Grey! Thank you for joining me for tea and have a lovely day.
Blessings,
Sandi
that is a very unique cup, it reminds me of a quilt, don't know why,,,, I love the smell of exotic teas but when comes to my fav its just plain black tea, milk and sugar, the smell of Earl Grey is beautiful!!!!
I love that cup, Sylvia. It is really different. I am not big on the flavored teas at all. My family always drank Earl Gray. Hope you had a wonderful day- xo Diana
Your cup is beautiful. I love it. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha
What a pretty tea cup! Thank you so much Sylvia for your recent visits to my blog. I appreciate all of your kind and encouraging comments. Those muffins look very yummy! =) Perfect with a cup of tea.
Blessings, Valerie
Isn't the net wonderful? We can find an item, come home, and do a Search on it. And bingo, we know its history!
Mmmmm, Chocolate Chai... I don't think I would really like that either. :-) But then, I'm not someone who appreciates tea. ................ I know! You are gasping! -gigggles-
The muffins look delicious though. Well, if I didn't have to eat Gluten Free. :-)))
Tessa~
And your blog is looking Autumn-y, I see!

What a pretty cup! It looks like it has a lot of gold and a bit of a retro feel since its from the 70s :). Your muffins look very yummy. Chocolate Chai does sound yummy, but I usually have to be pretty careful with the chocolate teas--usually I'm not a huge fan. Isn't it a shame you have to buy a whole box of tea to try it only to find out it isn't a favorite :(? Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I hope you have a great week!
ooo, those muffins...it's 5 am here, I'm wide awake and just put the coffee pot on...
I NEED ONE OF YOUR MUFFINS..!!
They sure do look good.
oops, meant to add that I love your pretty cup...great find.
Beautiful cup! The banana muffin looks yummy too....Christine
I LOVE earl gray tea... and use a special one I can only get in Canada.. It is Tetley Earl Gray with Vanilla. I don't know that I would like chocolate chai though I love chocolate. I do like that tea cup A LOT.
Beautiful pattern...
Love your teacup, Syl!
You know Mary D from STS? She adores chocolate teas - and I think Chocolate Mint is one of her favs. I am not a fan so if I acquire some I will save and send for your sweet grand.
I love you are making her into a tea lady. A new generation, yay. Hate it all to fall away unforgotten. Can you imagine what Jane Austen would think of today's young women? I shudder to even think about it.
Hugs and prayers - sorry I have been so absent lately. Family needing me more than normal.
Hi Sylvia! Your new tea cup is a real beauty! And the muffins look amazing!
Hugs to you, dear friend!
Good Morning Sylvia!
I love the new tea cup! Very pretty! Those muffins sure do look yummy. I have been baking everything pumpkin lately. So glad Fall is approaching (even though it's suppose to be in the 90's today-yikes!)
I'm not much for the Chai teas either. I prefer earl grey or English Breakfast. I do like peach iced tea though. It's rather refreshing!
I hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs to you,
Amy
