What to do on a Rainy Day!

70 % rain today!
Wow, now what to do on a Rainy Day!
Dark and dreary days can be depressing
if we let it.

Isaiah 60:19
"The Lord will be your everlasting
light, and your God will be your
glory...''

So I embrace it and do some decorating!

I put a couple of scarecrows on the porch.

I always enjoy dressing up my table,
even if no one is coming for dinner.

A pretty leaf plate placed in a green one.
I used fall wash cloths for napkins.

Placed a few leaves and small pumpkins around
the centerpiece, and a few other items.

A teapot is always a must!

Now I'm ready for fall.

Have a Blessed Day!

Sylvia

Hi Sylvia, I love your fall decorations. The last pictures is so pretty, makes me wish I were there. My favorite thing is the bird in the wire cloche. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo,Susie

We're having some rainy days here too. It puts me in the Christmas mood. I have one decoration up already and turn on the Netflix fireplace a lot. :)

What a productive day! Your fall decor is lovely. I especially like the scarecrow and orange teapot. I've been on the hunt for a scarecrow to display on my front walkway.

I love all your decorations but I think my favourite is the scarecrow on the porch.

Happy Fall to you all too!!!You are ahead of me! Although I have a wreath on my front door, and now a little fall flag in front of the porch...but inside is sadly way behind! Maybe this weekend it will feel more like fall here in Florida and I can get in the spirit of things! Thank you for the inspiration! You make me want to get busy!!! Love your arrangements.

How pretty your home looks, Sylvia. I keep my table decorated, too. My late beloved always loved when I did that, so I keep on doing it. Your orange teapot is prefect for a Fall tea.

Hi Sylvia, your home is so pretty for fall. Love the wreath and your table setting is beautiful. I like to do this too even when no one is coming for dinner. Just looks lived in and ready! Darling orange tea pot and I love your idea to use fall wash clothes for napkins. Enjoy the season and thank you for stopping by and your kind comment.
Happy Fall, Hugs and Blessings, cm
