Living Life

Have you ever thought of how your life effects others; really meditated on it, not that we should live to please everyone, but wouldn't it be a good thing if each of us treated others the way we want others to treat us.  I believe there would be lots of people that would take notice.

Luke 6:31
"Just as you want men to do to you;do also to them"

In my devotion this morning a professional author was asked by a young author advice on writing. He was told to write the book that you would want to find on a shelf.
What if we all applied this advice in our daily life this day and time when there are so much choas going on around us. Wouldn't it bring calm and peace to our hearts and souls.

Our Savior wants us to have a lifestyle of mercy.
Luke 6:27-36
" Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you"

Yes, it is impossible in our own strength, but with God's help and guidance we can accomplish great things!

"All the way my Savior leads me~
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide"
~Crosby~

Wouldn't it be great if everyone would start today allowing Christ to live through us.

May your Day be Blessed!
Sylvia

Sylvia, We just have to do the best we can each day. I worked with a girl once, she always seemed so happy...I asked her if she was happy everyday..she said, "no, but if I smile and am nice, then my day just gets better. " This could work for us. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

It's so nice to stop by for a visit. I have been traveling and busy with my granddaughters. Loving our enemies.. I definitely need prayer for that. And mercy is something that I can't live without from God. He is teaching me to extend that to others. I really like Fanny Crosby and her writings. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful week!

We will feel happy if we work for our lovable persons with whole heart. I have experienced this situation.
