A Grandma's Blessings
Oh, yummy. That looks so good! Wish I could have breakfast with you!
Sylvia, I love waffles....rarely have them though. My g.daughter eats those toaster waffle when she comes here. Funny I love waffles and really don't care for pancakes. Blessings for a beautiful Wednesday. xoxo, Susie
MMMMMMMM you know I was in the grocery yesterday and had to buy some raspberry sorbet - and was right across from the frozen L'Eggo ones - the not-as-delicious-but-will-do-in-a-pinch-with -no-mess lazy kind, and I nearly put some in my cart. I LOVE waffles - oh especially the truly fresh made at an expensive hotel kind. : - )Alas, settled for a coffee for breakfast. I am having a dinner party tonight and feel cheated now - I wish I had those frozen ones. I could use a breakfast of champions about now!!! Hope yours were as good as they look - yum yum!
Mr D and I had a big pecan waffle for breakfast yesterday morning! We were just a day early. Yummy!
Ooooh, I love waffles! And I must say that I had no idea it was National Waffle Day. I think my son and I will have to have some for lunch :)Wishing you a lovely day, my friend! Hugs!
National waffle day!! I would have made some had I known as they are my ultimate favorite. I have my grandmother's recipe that is amazing. So nice visiting you, dear Sylvia.
Did you know that one of my first jobs was at the offices of Waffle House? (Their accounting office was on the back side of a Waffle House on Columbia Drive in Decatur!) Most people don't know that it is based in Atlanta, they are all over the country now, I think!
Love it! We eat it with whipped cream. Jammie!
Hope you enjoyed National Waffle day ♥summerdaisycottage.blogspot.com
I was just thinking this morning that I wish I had waffle iron! I didn't know there was a National Waffle Day. Makes me want to go to IHOP!
