Friday Foto Friends

Since we haven't had rain in a month or so, my mums haven't survived so I took these photo's of some at Walmart. There is a slight chance of rain tomorrow, praying it does! We sure need it. There are wild fires in several states around me, including our own North Georgia Mountains.

Have a Blessed Day!

The mums are very pretty. We sure need the rain. So sad how many acres have burned and my heart goes out to the firefighters.

Hope the rains come..I know your area needs it. Mums are so pretty and just shout "Fall", I've been thinking about getting one to put by my front door. It's so late now guess I'll wait and get a poinsettia instead! Hope you have a good day!

I so hope you get the rain you need to put out those fires. The mums are lovely. I never have luck with them, but I love seeing them in other neighbors' yards.

Beautiful mums, even if they are at Walmart! Mine aren't looking so good either. Too dry here as well. I try to keep them watered, but they also need dead-heading to keep reproducing more flowers...and I can't keep up with it. I like your idea...
Happy Thanksgiving my friend. Stay safe and happy! God bless you all.

Hi Sylvia, The mums you are showing are pretty still,we just cleared out our mums this week. My were spent. Ted and cleaned the beds, the yard, and trimmed trees and shrubs too. We are set for winter ...which is coming so near, rain headed in now and the temps will drop. Please be safe in your area from the fires. Bless you, xoxo, Susie

Beautiful mums! A fire began on the mountain behind one of the schools where I work; no school there today. The fire at this point isn't contained. Hopefully we'll all get some rain tonight.

We are praying and praying for rain.
We live in South Georgia, but we have a home in Western North Carolina.
Like North Georgia, Western Carolina is on fire.
My heart is breaking.....
Please, Lord....send us rain.

Pretty mums, Sylvia--Walmart or not. I do hope you get some rain. It looks like we are looking for some snow here in the next few days. In the next month we can be photographing poinsettias, I suppose! xo Diana

Sorry I'm late in visiting....we had grand-kiddos yesterday and into the evening and you know how that totally takes up your time! ;-) We got rain this morning and the skies are still gray. I'm in HOPEs we get even more. There are leaves EVERYWHERE and this is after our yard was completely clean earlier in the week. Oh, well...the rain is well worth every leaf we have to rake/mulch. Thanks for linking up with me...and being so faithful. HOPE you have a great weekend!
