Blessings in Disguise

Blessings come in many ways.
We don't always recognize them.
We may believe that we are living a
life that we should be living. Then
troubles come and cause us to wonder.
We thank God for all he does for us--
but-- we still have troubles come into
our life, and we're sad cause we don't
understand why God doesn't answer us
the way we want and when we want Him to.

By being faithful and trusting God and his
faithfulness in His Time all things will work
out for our good.

"Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face
continually."
1 Chronicles 16:11

When we lose one blessing, another is often
given in it's place.

When troubles come our way, let our heart seek
the Lord!

"Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord"
1 Chronicles 16:10

O Lord in all things, help me to seek your will, and not my own.
Help me to look for you in all my troubles!
Amen

May your day be filled with God's Blessings!
Sylvia

God answers all prayers with either a yes, no or wait.

Sylvia, I love your post. We some times do need to be reminded to count our blessings. I am thankful for lots of covers on cold nights like we have been having. I know that may seem a strange...but I remember not having enough blankets and pillows growing up. Maybe my parents did their best, maybe not, I do not know. But I am thankful for them. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

Now I have the old hymn, Count Your Blessings running through my head :) So true - we are often overwhelmed with our struggles and we have to work extra hard to see those blessings but they are always there.
