Good Sunday Morning

This verse touched me this week and I wanted
to share it with you. I have been doing a lot of
soul searching lately and this verse helps me
put things in perspective, it's the content of my
heart that God cares about, not how I look on
the outside although I do believe he wants us
to look descent.

"She maketh herself coverings of tapestry;
 her clothing is silk and purple."
Proverbs 31:22

To live my life for Christ, so I can live it pleasing to him as a follower of Him, a wife, a mother and friend. I have to go back and read
 Proverbs 31:10 - 31 often.

May you have a Blessed week!
Sylvia

This is a good reminder. It's not good to compare myself with others or even with my abilities when I was younger. God has a purpose for me in this part of my life. Maybe it is just to pray for others. And maybe this is the best part!

You are a beautiful example of the Proverbs 31 woman. Beautiful inside and outside. I am very pleased to count you as a dear friend.

I loved that verse - for Andy's graduation I am making cards with verses on it - and putting them in a music box I bought that plays Amazing Grace and I will give it to him as part of his gift.
