Is it Spring Yet!

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it"
Psalm 118:24

I was rejoicing this morning when I went outside.  There to my surprise I saw these pretty daffodil's blooming among all the dead plants in the flower bed.  I was so happy to see them, after the snow and all the ice last week.  Just maybe spring is here, I am rejoicing, praying it will last.  It is 72 degrees this afternoon.

Look what else I found amongst the flower pots. Oh yes, Mr.Milo, he has taken to this pot for some unknown reason. Some days he will lay in it all afternon, what is he going to do when I plant flowers in it. Well that's why the rabbit, candle stand and the small bird feeder that's under him is in it. They didn't do a good job keeping him out last summer.

Silly cat, maybe he just likes the company of the one eared rabbit.

Have a Blessed Day and May you find Joy in it!

Sylvia

Hi Sylvia,

Wow, what a wonderful surprise to have daffodils already! We won't see them until mid May around here. Mr. Milo is looking pretty fine in that pot!

LOL Cats have a mind of their own and no way can we figure them out. It must be nice to lay in the sunshine! Beautiful flowers, I am so jealous!

Good morning Sylvia! What great hope your blog has given me this foggy morning here in OR! I love daffodils. 72 degrees? This winter has been nutty. I am ready for spring too.
Milo is a riot. I love kitties but don't have one now.

Oh your kitty is so pretty. And if he really likes that perch, perhaps it would be wise, to just "deed" it to him.

After all, there are plenty of other places for flowers.

Annnnnnnnnnnd, he is soooooooo pretty himself, he is enough decoration in his favorite spot.

Maybe......?

Gentle hugs,
Tessa~

Milo is such a gorgeous cat. He looks happy and content . He likes the warmth of the earth against his body, or as you say.. the one eared rabbit.):-

Oh wow, 72 degrees out?! Must be nice! We have been having frigid wind with flying dirt here! There's been a few times I thought maybe we weren't in Colorado any more and I left my ruby red shoes in the closet. :)

Those daffodils are beautiful! A few of my plants are starting to peek through the dirt and wishing they would bloom soon. We have been battling the tumbleweeds throughout our yard and its becoming a burden to remove them from the trees and outdoor decorations. So, until the wind stops, I am leaving them where they land.

Enjoy the warm weather! I think Mr. Milo is really soaking up the sun too!

Hugs,
Amy

Dear Syvia,
The daffodils are beautiful! Mine are starting to bloom, too! Isn't it wonderful that Spring is on its way! We had temps in the 70's yesterday, too! Milo is beautiful!

We have pretty much the same weather. I noticed daffodils blooming this morning and snow drops. Those were great pictures of your ice storm. I only got pics of some of my trees but they didn't turn out so well.
