Baking with Morgan

I had a great time today baking with my Granddaughter,Morgan!
She had never made Lemon Curd from scratch, so I showed her
how and then we made scones!
Well after we made chocolate chip cookies!

In the oven went the cookies!

We made chicken salad for lunch, together!
I usually use red grapes but hubby bought green ones instead!

Her scones turned out good,  just a little  different sizes.

It's always good to bake with my grandchildren, can't wait till Christmas, we have a Cookie Baking day the week before, then all 6 of them spends the day and we bake and decorate cookies.

Here's a peek from last year, now where are the other 2?
Somewhere watching TV  I think!

Find joy in your day and have a Blessed One!

Hello dear Sylvia..
What a delightful post.
Its wonderful , that your grandchildren are still of an age when they want to cook with you.
Mine are well grown up now.. those days are gone.
I have had the pleasure of one of my grandaughters cooking dinner for me.. and she is a good cook.
Happy weekend..

Sylvia, you are creating memories with your grands when you have your baking days together. Our girls fondly remember times in the kitchen with my late mother.

That is so sweet! I used to do this kind of thing with my own grandmother. They are very special memories now. =) You are wonderful to do this with your grandkids.
Blessings and Sunshine,
Valerie

You are so blessed. My only grandson lives 1500 miles away, so we've never really had too many opportunities for baking together. My youngest son (age 37 now) does love to bake cookies now, and that all started when he was a very young child and we would bake together while the other two boys were in school. Happy memories. Your grandchildren are so very blessed.
