A Time to Reflect!

I am having problems with my PC at this time and will take some time to examine my use of my time and other areas of my life.  Even though I have a tablet, which I'm posting this from, I' m not as use to using it.
I believe there is a reason and purpose for all things. I will try to use this as a means to listen and learn. Spending time in God's word and seeking His direction in my life, even the littlest of things going wrong can be a blessing.

Each morning I awake around 4 A.M. I get up and spend quiet time reading my bible and praying. It helps me to focus on the day while all is quiet and still in the morning, and to listen to my Lord speak to my heart. The day can get so loud when all the activity starts. So today my prayer is to be still and quiet before the Lord and wait patiently on Him.

I will visit you and return in time!

Have a Blessed Day!

Sylvia

God speaks to us in many ways doesn't he? My quiet time with my Bible is when I go to bed and this year I'm on a reading schedule to read the OT and NT at the same time over the period of the year.
I hope you find a balance in your life where you can still blog Sylvia.

I agree with you Sylvia! Sometimes it's so nice to just be still for a season and see what the Lord has in store. I have not been committing myself to anything for this month. We had such a busy Christmas and then everyone got sick to just needing some much needed time to rest and enjoy being home for a change. And there is nothing wrong with that! I love my home and my duties within these walls.

My boys' laptop got some weird virus on it and now I need to get it fixed. I don't like it when they use my computer.. I better get it taken in soon.... ;-)

Enjoy your time friend!

Hugs,
Amy

I know God has a purpose for everything. Enjoy your "quiet time", and while you are reflecting on the way God is working, I know He will inspire you with some new and marvelous things to share with us when you are able to do so. But just relax and take advantage of this down time. They don't happen very often.

Thank you, dear Sylvia, for reminding me that mornings are the BEST time to listen to what HE has to tell us.
I got out of that habit last year and will start again, first thing in the morning. Thank you for the blessing of your post.
