Just a few photo's for Friday Foto Friends.
Some places we went and things I did the last few days.
We went to the Concord Jubilee Festival on Saturday. My hubby doesn't walk long distances very well so we mostly sat.
Morgan and I got our nails done, and then went out to eat.
For as long as we've been here (2years) the sidewalk in front of our home has been buckled up so bad due to large roots from the large shrubs. We had to walk around it.
I didn't know they were finally getting to our street or I would have gotten a before photo.
They did a good job, so glad it's repaired.
Visited our daughter one day and on our way home stopped by the covered bridge that's halfway between our homes.
Just had to include the sunrise photo my daughter took at her home after returning from taking her 2 children to school.
I love sunrise and sunset, God shows us His beauty!
Yesterday hubby and I got our flu shots!
Now we have a sore arm and not feeling up to par.

Beautiful photos. They did a great job on that sidewalk. That covered bridge foto looks frame ready.
I got the flu shot once a long time ago. It made me feel achey for a few hours. Thats the only one Ive ever had and have only gotten the flu once in my whole adult life. Im not a believer in the flu shot as there are many different types of flu strains floating around. The shot has never been prooven to actually work. I hope i dont regret saying that but for now, im good.

I'm so glad that the sidewalk in front of your home has been taken care of. It will make that area safer for everyone who walks there. I love covered bridges. WV has a few and I always enjoy when we come across one.
Looks like it was a nice and productive week! I'm glad they're getting the sidewalk done. What a hazard! Hope you feel better after that flu shot. I never get them. It seems like they're always a step behind the one that eventually hits in the spring. Loved your photos.
Such wonderful photos Sylvia I enjoyed every one of them but i think my favorites were the sunrise, the covered bridge and having your nails done. I'm glad the sidewalk was fixed. Looks good. Have a day of blessings my friend.
We got our flu shots a couple of weeks ago. My arm was sore for about a week. John did fine. Your and Morgan's nails look so pretty. The sidewalk looks so nice now and will be so much safer. Lovely sunrise photo from your daughter. Hope you have a nice weekend.
Sylvia, We got our shots also. Our shoulder were a bit stiff the next day. LOL. Love the pretty nails. Your hubby has my sympathy....I would love to run and jump like when I was a kid...but have to know how far things may lead any more. My feet will hurt for a day or so if I walk long distances. Sylvia, my husband isn't up to walking much either so we usually find him a place to sit. We have had our flu shots. Our sidewalks need to be repaired, too. I have tripped a few times and the kids have also. I too love sunrise and sunsets and take loads of photos of them. The covered bridge reminds me of the Ideals books we used to get. They always had beautiful pics of covered bridges. And your nails look pretty.

Sounds like you've had a getting things done and a bit of relaxation week. I do love your French manicure. My favourite kind though I've given my nails a long rest from gel manicure. They make my nails too weak. I absolutely love the covered bridge photo. I could enjoy some time there on the grass beside the bridge just contemplating. I also enjoy festivals and markets but like your husband like to sit a lot and watch everyone. I had my flu shot about a week ago. I did have a stiff arm but not too bad. I hope you are good as new soon.

The festival sounds fun. Craft fairs and festivals are my favorite. That covered bridge is so charming, and the sunrise picture is beautiful. I'm a morning person, so I often see the sunrises more than the sunsets. Loved your "this and that" post, Sylvia.
