"I Looked UP"
I looked down and I found that everything
looked real bad,
I looked back and I saw so many things
that were sad,
I looked up and I could feel the sunshine
on my face,
I felt love and peace and God's
healing grace.
I realized everyday what I needed
to do,
No matter what I was doing or
going through,
If I looked down I missed the hope and
strength for the day,
If I looked back I'd dwell on things I could
never change anyway.
Looking up I would find all that I need,
I'd have a reason to keep trying,
knowing with God I'd succeed.
When I'm down and feeling like there is
no hope around,
I look up and I realize where true
hope is found,
When I look back and I worry about what
has already been done,
I look up and I see the battles are over
And my Father has already won!!

God bless you today. Thank you for sharing the poem this morning, which made me thankful.
Sylvia, When I walk to the mailbox, I lift my face to the sun and I feel God's kiss on my face. :):) I love doing that, especially in the winter..when you can just barely feel the warmth of the sun. Blessings for a great day. xoxo,Susie
