First Winter Flower

Here we sit waiting for the first Winter Storm of ice, sleet and/or Snow. Praying we don't get a lot of either!

When coming in the other day from town, as I was walking up to the door, I noticed this flower blooming! Can anyone tell me it's name? I should know but I can't think of it, guess that's what happens when you get 0ld up in age.

It's so pretty and white! It deserves a name.

Have a Blessed Day!

So delicate and pretty! Is that a Narcissus? It's kin to a daffodil! I hope the weather doesn't destroy it! Seems very early for them to be blooming!

It looks like one of the Narcissus family. Here we call them 'Paper Whites'.

It looks a little like a star of Bethlehem, but I'm not sure. Whatever it is, isn't it blooming early?!?!? Bless it's little heart, it's gonna get frozen. I jaunted to the mailbox and now I'm freezing. We're supposed to get snow, too...but it's not happened yet! Thanks for linking up today, sweet Lady. HOPE you have a great weekend.

Beautiful flower! I hops the cold and snow doesn't destroy its beauty.
We got a lot of snow and these frigid temps are not fun! Stay safe and warm!

Have a delightful weekend, my friend!

A lovely flower that looks like it should be heralding spring, not snow, sleet and hail

I don't have a clue what type of flower it is, but the majority says narcissus!! It sure is pretty, hope it survives the forecasted snow!

Wow! That's early! We won't see one until late Feb./early March.

Whatever its name, it sure is pretty and determined to bloom! I hope you didn't get too much snow in your part of the world.
