BEE-U-TEA-FUL DAY !

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!  For His mercy endures forever.
Psalm 197:1

Maybe it is all the rain we have been having this summer, but the bees sure are loving my flowers.  They fly all around the hosta's and Bee Balm.

There's a Hummingbird also that has taken up residence near by and thinks the flowers are all his (or hers).  I am having trouble taking a picture of it since it flies so fast and always exit when it hears or sees me.  One day I'll be ready with my camera and snap a picture before it gets away.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

Love your flowers AND bees! Yes, those hummers are a challenge. You have to set up a "blind" so that he can't see you but you can see him, and then be very still and quiet, and patient! My problem is my camera goes to sleep when it's not active, so then I have to wake it back up to take the picture, and by then it may be too late! Good luck!

Is that red flower bee balm Sylvia? The color is just beautiful. I've tried and tried to photograph our hummingbirds and I don't have any luck either.

Love your hosta blossoms- something we cannot have here. First year we planted a bunch, naively not realizing Hostas are like Resee Cups to deer. Oh boy they even uprooted them - ate them to smithereens, haha.

I love them and have one side of the house all shade - would grow so nicely there, oh well. I know we must share the earth, but somehow MY garden doesn't wanna share, haha.

Your devotional today is lovely, Sylvia. Always such a pleasure to visit you, my old and very dear tea society friend. Hugs.

Have a GREAT week!

Sunday, there were two big yellow and black butterflies in our church courtyard. People actually stopped along the walkway to watch them!

You are fortunate to have had rain for these pretty flowers. Most of mine just could not take this Texas heat even if I watered.

Charming post, dear friend! I love your bees and flowers - they made me smile :) And your tea setting is just lovely! It would be such a joy to sit down and chat over a cup of tea.

Love and hugs to you!

Hello Sylvia,
Beautiful images! The bees have been loving my lavender this year, especially bumble bees. Big ginormous ones! lol! But they don't mind me, I smell the lavender right along with them.
I also have seen more hummingbirds this summer. Usually I only get to see one or two a season. But this year they have been around regularly. What a treat!
I am glad you are enjoying them too : )
Hugs,
Terri

I haven't seen one Humming bird this year. We don't get that many, even when I put up the feeder. You're so lucky to see them. Thanks for visiting. I always appreciate your comments.

The bees are swarming around my globe thistle here. Three to a blossom! Thanks for stopping by Sylvia.
