It's been a couple weeks since I've posted. I needed some time to get away and rest, my mind and spirit.
My hubby and I rented a log cabin, built in 1935, at Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park. I was blessed to have my teenage grandson come and house sit and care for our pets. It helped to have a few days to just rest and relax.

The trees are blooming and there's hope for Spring to be here soon. I believe Thursday is the first day of Spring.
I did see a robin jumping around on the ground outside our cabin, while I sat in the rocking chair on the screened in porch. Doesn't this mean spring is coming!
I took time for Tea ! That's always a treat.
Hope you're having a Blessed Day!

Good morning Sylvia,
What a lovely break you had! The scenery looks delightful. I won't see trees in blossom for a couple of months yet. Spring will be late this year but there is hope as I see a few changes occuring in nature here. Thank you for your visit and your sweet comment. Have a beautiful day.
Blessings,
Sandi

Lovely photos and such a beautiful post, Sylvia. I love nature, and I definitely love a good cup of tea. I find both a comfort.
It all looks so beautiful Sylvia!... I hope you enjoyed your break... Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!... xoxo Julie Marie
We all need a break for some R & R now and then and the log cabin you stayed in looks cozy. I sure hope we'll see spring in the next few weeks, the robins are returning but we still have lots of snow.
Sounds like your time away is just what you needed and the cabin you stayed in is quite charming and cozy! I agree with Judith, we all need a break and I'm so glad you were able to take one. I hope you are feeling rested and relaxed. sweet friend!
Much love to you!
Oh Sylvia, what a lovely place to escape to! Did you get rested and refreshed? We just need that sometimes. Welcome back!
