2 Corinthians 12:9-10
"My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
It's a quiet morning, peaceful with a coolness in the air. The weather man predicts thunder storms and possible tornado's in some areas the next few days. I hope 'not' . I love to sit and listen to the birds sing. There is some road noise from the highway in front of the house even tho we are 150 ft from it. I just tune it out as I listen and watch the hummingbird come for it's breakfast that hangs from the patio cover above. Other birds fly around chasing each other, I wonder if they are from the nest of three eggs that hatched out from the Rosemary bush in my flower bed last year, maybe just maybe they are and have come back for a visit.
I watch as my DH joins me ,he looks pale but strong at the same time. He didn't sleep good last night so that means I was awake off and on after 1:00 A.M. His faith will get him through this.
2 Corinthians 12:9b
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
12:10b
:for when I am weak ,then I am strong
Today is Day 4 of his treatments. All the nurses are compassionate and kind, especially Laurie, she is funny and makes us laugh. I love her way of dealing with the patients. It lifts our spirits.
I watch as the hummingbird returns to the feeder above for more of his breakfast. The noise it makes alerts Madi as she lays in "my favorite rocking chair" she begins to bark and away the hummer flies.
Now I must shower and dress for the drive which is over an hour one way. Praying the treatments are working and he'll be cancer free soon.

Love your hummingbirds. We have a hard time attracting them here for some reason. Glad you have them there.
I hope your hubby does real well with his treatments, too, Sylvia. He has lots of prayers behind him to strengthen his path. I am glad you have good medical staff-that makes a world of difference. xo Diana
Dear Sylvia, I did not know your hubby was being treated for cancer, but kind of thought it might be that. Praying for you both as you go through these days together. May God's peace be your peace, and His strength Your strength...and His grace, your grace. God is with you. I know you know that. We'll continue to pray.
he is at home... and these are out-patient treatments. glad he is at home, even though it makes for long drives for you both.
