Butterfly Sunday

The butterfly is a beautiful thing, but once it
was a Cocoon then a Caterpillar, not very pretty,
but then it was changed, turned into a beautiful Butterfly!

One day like the butterfly as believers, we shall
be changed!
Our life may be filled with struggles and troubles
but we do have hope. We can choose to give up or
fight with courage and faith.  As the butterfly fights its way out of the cocoon it changes into a beautiful thing, we too must fight the good fight of faith to become what we will be.

Philippians 3:20-21
"For our life is in heaven; from where we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body"

With courage and faith let us continue in times of trouble and adversity, knowing that these trials will make us stronger. Let me encourage you not to give up but to fight with courage and faith!

John 16:33
"In the world you will have tribulations," "In me you may have peace"

Dear Lord, give us peace in all the turmoil around us, help us as we place our trust in You, for you are our strength." Amen

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Sylvia

Amen! I needed that reminder today. Thank you! The butterfly is such a beautiful reminder of God's promise to make us become "new creatures in Christ". With Christ, there is always hope for tomorrow!

Love your butterfly photo. Guess what? When I got home from the doctor's office today, I had that same butterfly on my hummingbird feeder. Look for a post about it! It is a Tiger swallowtail and is our biggest butterfly in Georgia and it is our State Butterfly! From that strange caterpillar to this gorgeous butterfly, we CAN all fight out of our ugly casing too!
God bless you. xx

Amen! Beautifully written... I am so glad I can put all my trust in God and have the comfort of his loving arms to keep me safe in this troubled world. It truly is remarkable how much he loves and cares for his children.
I hope you are having a lovely week!
