Thankful Thursday and Friday's Fhotos

The gifts we give may not be expensive, but the
gift of our time is more precious to others when
we give it with Love.

Children and sometimes adults doesn't realize
the cost of a gift. I say that to remind us of the
greatest gift ever given. That was the gift of life.
That gift wasn't free, it cost the sacrifice of pain and suffering. It cost the precious blood of our
Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:20
"For you are bought with a price"

April 1 is Easter, many will only think of eggs
and bunnies, but it's so much more than that.
Easter is to celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This gift of Love, cost was expensive, more than perishable things such as silver and gold. It
cost the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect."
  1 Peter 1:18-19

We learn to be truly thankful when we learn the
cost of our free gift of salvation. The greatest blessing of all!

I am thankful for family! This week has been a
week of doctors visit. Tuesday after hubby's appointment we met my sister, Linda, at Cheddar's for lunch then  she and I sent the men home while we went shopping.
When we finished and returned to her house for
me to pick up my hubby I noticed her Bradford Pear Trees were blooming. Grabbed my camera and snapped a photo as we were leaving.

Another day hubby and I went to Zaxby's for lunch. Outside the building was a row of pretty
Camellia's .

I got a close up of this one bloom so you could see
the raindrops on it. They remind me so much of roses.

Have a Blessed Day and remember to always be thankful for each day, for it is a blessings!

It's Camellia time right now, and I see them gracing my town as well. Yes, they do look similar to the Rose. How nice that you went shopping with your sister and got to spend some time with her. Easter is such a special holiday, isn't it?

ps.....I love your red rose with your name, Sylvia. : )
