A Time for Goodbye

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:"
Ecclesiastes 3:1

It's that time, time for me to say Goodbye!
For the last 6 years I've come to know so many of my
sweet fellow bloggers.. With all the changes coming
to blog land, I find it too much for me to keep up with.
I have enjoyed posting and reading your blogs. You
have helped me with problems here and have showed
me the love of friendship.

My personal life has to be my first concern. My
hubby isn't in good health and continues to have
problems that demands my attention. There's new
lessons there that I have to learn and apply to my
days. Time spent on my computer has to be reduced.

" The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want,
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures,
He leadeth me besides still waters."
Psalms 23:1-2

I long for the quiet still waters in my life. Today when
I opened my blog to do this post, there was another
note from blogger saying that more changes are coming
and I believe the time has come to say good-bye.
I am friends with so many of you on Facebook.
I would love to become friends with more of you if
you are on it. This would allow us to keep up with
each other without taking up so much of our time
needed for personal use.

I will leave my blog up for now.

May you have a
Blessed Memorial Day!

Sylvia

I'm so very glad we met through our blogs. You are so precious. I hope someday that all of us bloggers around the area.... actually around the country... can get together and meet face-to-face. If that can't happen then I know we'll recognize one another in heaven. Prayers for you as you care for your precious hubby, yes, that does come first. I completely understand. I've gone back and forth as to what to do about my own blog. Just leaving it in God's hands. Love you, sweet lady.

I don't know what the changes are for blogging that you've mentioned? Where did you hear about them? The only one I saw was from Networked blogs, that they were discontinuing, but that is different from blogspot. Anyway, I will truly miss you, but I hope you will stay on Facebook so we can stay in touch? I truly think of you as a friend that I've known for all these years, and I love seeing where you've been and how your family is, etc., and having a cup of tea with you on the porch or wherever. Praying now for you and for your precious hubby Curtis. Praying God will meet your every need. I understand your need to pull away from blogging, but you will definitely be missed, dear friend.

Being of a certain age myself, I understand completely. You will be missed. I hope you continue to look in from time to time just to enjoy photos of God's blessing with no need to post or reply. Praying for you and hour husband in this chapter in your journey. Blessed by God's Grace.

To my friend whom I have known for many more years than your blogging ones. In fact, um, I think I was the one who talked you into blogging, haha. And I am so so happy that you did! Your posts have been lovely, and sweet and faithful and inspiring - thanks so much.

I don't and never will FB......not my thing....but you have my personal info. Please don't be a stranger.

I will miss you - and guess what? You can always come back. There's no charge. And don't be mislead into thinking those blog changes are that big a deal.

I shall continue to pray for your hubby - and family - take care and hope to see you sometime in future. Love ya, lady. God bless. ♥♥♥
