Tuesday Blessings

God puts people in our lives at just the right time
to help and show His love.

I found this so true yesterday as I spent the day in the ER after having a reaction to the Lubricant shot my doctor put in my knee. I passed out for some time and was unresponsive. I was transported to the hospital a hour away. In the ambulance on the way there, the EMT and I begin to talk, I soon discovered that he was a friend of my grandson. He was such a nice young man, he talked to me the whole time and kept me calm. He even let me
know when my blood pressure begin to rise. It had fell very low and my heart rate, they thought I was having a heart attack, but no I wasn't, just a severe reaction  to the shot.
Just before we got to the hospital he asked if he
could pray for me, I said yes, he held my hand and prayed. I was so calm and after several hours, all kinds of test results came back to show I was OK,
they let me go home. All my family had left jobs, school and other things they had planned and came to be with me.

All the nurses were so kind and I am so blessed that God was with me. Just that morning before I left to go to the doctor He put two verses in my mind.

 Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,
saith the Lord; thoughts of peace, and not of evil,
to give you an expected end."
and
Matthew 29:20
"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever
I have commanded you and, lo, I am with you
always, even unto the end of the world."

We are commanded as believers to show love to one another. I was shown so much love yesterday and I thank God and give Him all honor and glory.

John 15: 12
"This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you."

Today as we go about our lives, look for someone
you can show love to, maybe a smile or a helping hand. You never know when someone may need it!

Be Blessed
Sylvia

That must have been so scary! I'm sorry to hear that happened. I have had those lubricant shots several times in my knees in the past. I never would have dreamed they could have that type of side effect. No doctors ever mentioned any side effects like that to me. Could there have been a manufacturer's problem with the lubricant?

I have had total knee replacement in my right knee, which used to be my worst knee. Now it is my best knee, but still a bit stiff, even though surgery was back in May. Now my left knee is the worst (arthritis) knee. I have been wanting to go and get a steroid shot in it, since it's been about 9 months, but haven't had time. I found those work better for me than the lubricant shots. Though, on the knee I had the surgery on, lubricants had stopped working for any length of time, and so had the steroid shots, there was no choice but knee replacement.

I hope that you will have some good results from the knee lubricant, and I hope your knee will feel better for a really long time. Arthritis in the knees is an awful thing.

Take care.

Oh Sylvia! What an experience you had! I am so sorry you had to go through that, but wow! Look how God prepared you and prepared the way...what a blessing! Love that the EMT prayed with you and that everyone was so kind. I know that all had to be pretty scary for you as well as for your family. So thankful you are okay. Wow...we just never know from day to day what we might have to go through, but God knows, and He has already prepared the way. Thank you for sharing this with us. God bless you dear friend. So thankful you are up and able to share this with us today. Sending hugs and love.

What a wonderful God we serve! He was there on your journey to the hospital and what a blessing to have the young man pray for you. That is just like God, isn't it? He was letting you He was there with you and He used that young man to minister to you. A beautiful story, Sylvia! Glad you're feeling better and Happy Birthday to your grandson! Blessings and hugs...Sandi
