Tomorrow is my birthday, and since I have an early eye appointment and then off to another town for my husbands Cardio Vascular doctor, I may not be home tomorrow. He's taking me out to eat and to a movie after his appointment. This morning I made a batch of banana nut muffins and carried them outside to eat. At first glance of my Angel Trumpet I knew I had to bring my little table out and sit under it.
My daughter gave me this August Teacup and saucer one year for my birthday, I'll always treasure it. I am not sure what the flower is on it, kinda looks like a bleeding heart, not sure, but I did look up the flower for August and it is the Gladiola, and this isn't one.
Here it is up closer
Since it was just me (my hubby goes to Hardee's for a biscuit) I made banana nut muffins to eat with my Tea of Life 'berry patch' tea, that I bought when camping (in a cabin) last month.. I loved the flavor of the tea!
I found this muffin "cake plate" when out shopping, don't remember where, just thought it was so cute but will only hold one jumbo muffin.
My sister gave this musical rose basket when I did the flowers for her weddings. It plays "Memories"
Love hummingbird's and roses!
I had just gotten my September/October Victoria magazine, so I took it outside with me to look at.
Thanks for sharing my birthday breakfast!
Have a Blessed Day!

What a lovely post, Sylvia! You set up such a perfect scenario - outdoors, flowers, great tea, memorable lovely china, special artifacts -and a great mag to read. Perfection to me!
Only thing is I sure wish I was there to celebrate your special day with you!
BIG BIRTHDAY HUGS, TEA SISTER FRIEND!!!!
Thanks Michele, wish you could be here too!
Happy birthday to you and may you have a wonderful year! Your morning tea is so lovely! I love the way you set the table by your flowers. Such a darling teacup, I think the flowers are called Fuchsia. I have a hanging fuchsia plant and the flowers look the same. I love your little muffin cake plate, so cute! I'll be looking for the new Victoria magazine!
Besssings to you,
Nancy
What a lovely way to celebrate your birthday! Wish we could come sit with you and enjoy it with you! Just be careful not to make the tea from your angel trumpets. I hear they will take you on quite a journey to a place you don't want to go. That would spoil your nice birthday. But they truly are beautiful to look at!
Happy Birthday tomorrow. Maybe there will still be some surprises for you tomorrow as well.
Have a blessed day!
Hello Sylvia.. A belated happy birthday to you.
I came over to you from Michelle's blog Finch nest..
Michelle always writes such lovely tea blogs, and i often wish i could join in.
I love your cups.. the flowers are Fuchsia's.. maybe you could grow some in your garden..they grow well in pots too. one of my mother's favorite flowers.
You chose a lovely spot to have your tea.
best wishes.
Maybe i will see you my side of the ocean.
