Victorian Christmas Teacup

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred,
and we are better throughout the year for having,
in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime.

by: Laura Ingalls Wilder

I love Christmas with all the joyful songs and trimmings, but I do give out easy these days, so after getting up early and starting my day decorating I stopped after a couple hours and had a tea break.
I love this Victorian Christmas teacup I found a few weeks ago while shopping.

This is the stamp on the back of the saucer, Johnson Bros. since 1883.  On the cup was the barcode label that read "Victorian Christmas teacup."

With my Nutri-Grain  Cereal bar I had Twinnings Breakfast tea.

The tablecloth, I found last year on clearance for only a couple dollars.

In the center is a large manger scene and a smaller one along the edges.

Hope your day is going good and you're filled with the spirit of Christmas!

HAVE A BlESSED DAY!

Hello Sylvia,
I love your JB Christmas teacup; how pretty! My DIL gifted me with lace placemats that look very much like your pretty tablecloth. Lovely tea post, my friend. Thank you for sharing and joining me for tea today. Enjoy your week.

Blessings,
Sandi

Love this...especially that tablecloth! What a treasure! Thank you for helping me to get into the Christmas spirit. I still am not quite ready to decorate...that will hopefully happen this next weekend. I have to have a little break between Thanksgiving and Christmas to recuperate and prepare my mind and house for the change from one season to another. But I'm enjoying listening to Christmas music on my way to and from work each day. That truly lifts my spirits and helps me get my day off to the right start.

Christmas blessings to you and yours. Pam
