VISIT TO MADISON, A SNEAK PEEK

Yesterday a friend and I visited the historic town of Madison, Georgia.  If you like small towns with
shops and lots of places to eat, you'll love Madison. It was a perfect day to spend outdoors, the wind
was gently blowing and the leaves were falling.  As we walked along the sidewalk we could hear the leaves rustling  in the wind.  As you can see the leaves had turned beautiful colors.  We ate at a tea room in town and toured an historic home.  That's all I can tell you today about our trip, next week I'll have pictures
of the Madison Tea Room and Gardens, and the Heritage Hall.  Hope to see you then!

Really does sound like a nice trip - I love the short road trips the best, I really do - sometimes the really b ig out-of-country vacations take SO much planning, time and energy that one needs to REST after it.............nice pretty fall drives = the best! Can't wait to see more, Syl!

Hi, Sylvia! Thanks for visiting my blog. Madison is on my to-do list to visit. We have never been there, and need to fix that. It is hard to be a tourist in our own 'backyard.'
