CHRISTMAS TEA BREAK

Let's be merry; we'll have tea and toast...and an endless host of syllabubs and jellies and mince pies.
by: Percy Bysshe Shelley

Come join me today as I break for a cup of Earl Gray Tea and some ginger snaps.

I'll admit that I bought the cookies at the store, haven't had time to do much baking as yet. They are good, I spread just a dot of honey on the top, then sprinkled with confectioners sugar and sprinkles.

We'll have our tea while the angel plays a tune for you and me.

She's standing on a plate of rosemary and holly, surrounded by candy canes and candles.

She loves to be the Center of Atention amongst my new china.

The angel napkin rings joins in with her to make beautiful christmas music!

How "Majesty" is that! Christmas music, Tea and cookies!

MERRY CHRISTMAS
AND
HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

Hello dear Sylvia,
Your cookies may come from the grocery store but they are looking very festive just the same! I really like your new china. I love dark green and it makes a lovely Christmas table! The angel brings just the right note of 'music' to your tea. Thank you, my friend, for sharing with us and coming to my special tea this week. Have a beautiful day.

Christmas blessings,
Sandi

What a lovely Christmas tea! Your china is very festive in green, and your angel is so sweet to keep an eye on things!
It doesn't matter if the cookies are store bought, you made them special, and they are tasty! Yay!
I hope to do a little baking on the weekend.

All your little angels looks so lovely on this green Christmas table! And I'm going to have to go look up "syllabub"in the dictionary, because I don't even know what that is.

Sylvia, Your centerpiece is lovely, and so is your china. This is a festive and beautiful Christmas table. I enjoyed sharing tea with you today. I also enjoyed reading the meaning of the candy cane in your prior post. Jesus is the reason for the season!
