Inspiration Sunday

Recently two of my younger sisters took a trip up the eastern coast to Maine, from their home in Georgia.  One of their stops was to see Plymouth Rock.  They were amazed at how small it was.  This morning in my daily devotion, to MY amazement, my devotion was on THE ROCK.  "Jesus Christ Himself is the chief cornerstone." Ephesians 2:20-22.

Plymouth Rock

I also learned that the reason the Plymouth Rock is so small is from years of visitor's chipping away at the stone and from erosion. .Source : Our Daily Bread Devotions
Jesus is the solid Rock we can cling to when the storms of life blow and beat against us..Matthew 7:25   Madeleine L'Engle said  "It's a good thing to have all the props pulled out from under us occasionally. It gives us some sense of what is rock under our feet and what is sand."  I can certainly relate to this on the many occasions I have felt beaten down and tossed around, only to feel and know God's hand is there to steady me.

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Isn't it wonderful to have a rock on which to place our hopes and dreams and fears and worries. A rock that will never be eroded by the elements or that anyone can chip away. We that are believers are blessed. xo Diana

So thankful that our Rock is Jesus! Yes He's the One! We can be very sure that He will remain a strong foundation forever! Thank you for this story today.

I am so thankful that God is my rock too! I can count on him whenever I need him. I don't want to go through this life without knowing he is right there beside me.
A strong foundation is key here. Without it, we would all crumble.

Have a great day!

I live every day knowing that God will take care of me, and I know for a fact that He answers my prayers.
