DAY FOUR

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
"My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."

It's a quiet morning, peaceful with a coolness in the air.  The weather man predicts thunder storms and possible tornado's in some areas the next few days. I hope 'not' . I love to sit and listen to the birds sing. There is some road noise from the highway in front of the house even tho we are 150 ft from it. I just tune it out as I listen and watch the hummingbird come for it's breakfast that hangs from the patio cover above. Other birds fly around chasing each other, I wonder if they are from the nest of three eggs that hatched out from the Rosemary bush in my flower bed last year, maybe just maybe they are and have come back for a visit.
I watch as my DH joins me ,he looks pale but strong at the same time. He didn't sleep good last night so that means I was awake off and on after 1:00 A.M. His faith will get him through this.

2 Corinthians 12:9b
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
12:10b
:for when I am weak ,then I am strong

 Today is Day 4 of his treatments. All the nurses are compassionate and kind, especially  Laurie, she is funny and makes us laugh. I love her way of dealing with the patients. It lifts our spirits.

I watch as the hummingbird returns to the feeder above for more of his breakfast. The noise it makes alerts Madi as she lays in "my favorite rocking chair" she begins to bark and away the hummer flies.

Now I must shower and dress for the drive which is over an hour one way. Praying the treatments are working and he'll be cancer free soon.

ROSE IN A TEACUP

Let's have a tea party
Beginning at three
You bring the teacups,
I'll pour the tea.
You pick the pastries,
Sweet as can be.
I'll toast to friendship
Between you and me.~

MESSAGE OF THE FRIENDSHIP FLOWERS

A friend loveth at all times....Proverbs 17:17

When we give away a flower,
it's fragrance stays behind
like a special
little "Thank you"
for doing something kind.

In fact,
the sweetest things of all,
that bring us joy each day,
are not the ones
we keep,
but those we give away.

Friendly thoughts
and flowers
Are much the same,
you know,
Because they both
bring happiness
No matter where they go."

If flowers were wishes,
Here's what these
would say~
"May a wonderful person
Have a wonderful day!"

"update":My husband is doing good at this time.  I am missing my blogging friends. Thanks for all the prayers and kind emails that I have received. Each one is a blessing. I read them over and over. The long drive everyday is hard but necessary.

THIS MAY BE MY LAST BLOG POST

Good Morning, It's raining here today, maybe the sun will come out soon and all will be bright and sunshiny again.  At least my Azalea's are blooming.

OOps, I had a problem with Grome on my computer this morning, so I had to uninstall it. A page came up and said it was dead.  Has anyone had this to happen to them? So now I am back only on Google.
I don't know how it let me upload this photo I took yesterday of my azalea but it did. When
I tried to upload two others, it wouldn't let me, so this will be my last photo untill I can discover
what's wrong with Google Chrome or if I no longer wish to be stressed out with this PC.

Anyway, next week I would be blogging 2 years. It doesn't seem that long.  I have met a lot of great
ladies and have loved reading all the blogs and sharing with them.  I am friends with some of them on FaceBook and Google plus. I hope to keep up with you there.  This may be my last post.  Things are changing in my life, and there are things I need to change also, like my time on the computer.
 My husband has  a health problem and will
need my attention for the next few months.  I need to be as attentive as possible and there will
be days at a time that I won't be home.  Some of you ladies have prayed for us and emailed me.  I hope you will continue to do both. I would love to hear from you.  I will leave my blog up for awhile so everyone has a chance to read it.

Have a Blessed Day!

Sunday Blessings

Take My Hand

When the storms of life are raging
And there's trouble 'cross the land;
We can almost hear Him whisper,
Precious children "Take My Hand".

You will never have a problem
That I cannot understand...
I will bear your every burden,
If you'll only take my hand.

When your trials seem much too heavy
And you feel you cannot stand;
I will be the crutch you lean on
Precious children "Take My Hand".

O'er the earth, My eyes are roaming;
There is naught, I cannot see...
Take My hand and look toward heaven,
Then just put your trust in Me.

There's no sickness, I can't conquer;
There's no storm, I cannot calm;
For I paid for all your trials,
With the nail-prints in My palm.

'Does not matter what you're facing...
You don't have to understand;
Put your trust in Me, My children.
Just reach up and Take My Hand.

I will bear your every burden...
I'll bring peace to every land,
If My children will obey Me;
And reach out and "Take My Hand".

THERE IS A GHOST!!

No, it isn't October yet, or Halloween!  But there is a Ghost in my computer!  Yesterday Windows Security decides to do 4 updates and afterwards I couldn't do anything on my computer. I tried several times to upload photo's on here and on Facebook, comment, and do a blog but couldn't, so I kept trying, and little by little it's letting me do some things. There are still some issues but maybe this time tomorrow my little ghost will fix everything.
 My hubby said maybe it has a bug! Uh Oh! I have heard on the news about the Bleeding Heart virus. Has anyone had a problem with it?  I sure love to hear from anyone if you have.

Be Blessed!

SIGNS OF LIFE

As the snow melts and signs of life appear, we see a new and brighter day. Changes in the world around us. God's beauty abounds, we only have to look to find His Love and Grace.

Winter is a pretty season in it's own right, but I'll take Spring.  It reminds me of all things new, new beginnings, a new life. Everything coming alive after a long winters nap.  The beauty of flowers and the leaves arriving on trees again. So much to behold.

There are paths that we take along life's journey that leads us to all God's beauty. Yes, He will lead us if only we let Him, he restores us and leads us in the paths of righteousness.

He'll lead us  beside still waters.
Psalms 23

" Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
Psalm 119:105

This is my hearts desire, that in some way or simple words, others will see Jesus.

May your Sunday be a Blessed!

I AM IN LOVE!

Like i said,  "I AM IN LOVE"!  Today I went shopping at Kroger and love their selection of teas!
I found one by Bigelow "Vanilla Caramel Black Tea".

I made Lemon Curd yesterday so today  when I went to the store and found this Tea, I thought "OK I'll make those Cinnamon Pecan Scones that I found the recipe for in the Tea Time Treasures magazine. Then I whipped up some heavy cream.   Got this idea on Tuesday when I visited the British Pantry Tea Room. Slice the scone,add lemon curd and then put heavy whipped cream on top. I normally have one or the other but both together was extra icing.

Yumm, you would have thought I hadn't eaten in a month of  Sunday's

Even my hubby loved it for an afternoon snack!

If you like caramel, I sure recommend the tea!

SISTERS DAY OUT AND BRITISH PANTRY TEA ROOM!

 The last couple days has really been nice and warm. Temperature's of 82 and 84.  My three sisters and I decided it was a good time for a girls day out since the four of us hadn't gotten together in some time.  There's a tea room a friend told me about and I wanted to go try it out.  We all agreed to go after we shopped awhile.  This is the sign above the door.  My two younger sisters had never been to a tea room, much less drink hot tea from a teacup.  They really enjoyed it and I do believe they'll be ready to go again. We have already found one we want to visit. It's close to one sister but a 2 and half hour drive for me, it'll be worth it.  The only thing about The British Pantry Tea Room was that it is in a strip mall, but nicely decorated inside.

 When I got to the street my sister lives on, where we were to meet, I was so caught up in looking at all the flowers and trees blooming that I drove right by her house.

 It is so pretty, just two doors from her house. Macon has so many Cherry Trees. They had their Cherry Blossom Festival last week.
You can read more about it here at Southern Daydreamer Outdoor Wednesday.

Here we are waiting on our food. Linda took this photo so I took one of her by herself.

While we were waiting I just had to take some photo's of the teacups and teapots.

I love this teapot! No I didn't buy it, but I did have to slap my hands and tell myself,,,"No, Sylvia, No"!!!

Our food came and it all look and tasted really good.

(I had already stared eating before I remembered to get a photo)

  I didn't realize at the time but I ordered three salads~~~ Chicken Salad, Potato Salad and a toss Salad.  And these Scones were sooooooo gooooood...I cut each one in half and shared with my sisters.  Lemon Curd and whipped cream, yummy !!

Ok, we shopped till we dropped and then got up and shopped some more. On our way back we stopped at Steak and Shake and got a milk shake. We had laughed and teased each other all day, acting like teenagers.  It is good for the soul to be silly from time to time.

Alright I did buy a tea cup at the tea room. I couldn't have the teapot so I got a cup, good compromise, right!
Don't you love the little girl inside the cup?
The place mats were a good find on sale at Kohl's. So Springy.

Now my little weeping Cherry Tree isn't as grand as the one on Sharon's street, and every year I tell myself "I'm going to have it cut down" It's really old. But then it looks pretty the next year and I change my mind.

Today when I was walking Madi, look what I saw on it's limbs. My daughter told me that the butterfly is a sign that I'm not to cut it down. "Don't give up on me," it's saying.

Maybe she's right since I don't believe in 'giving up', have faith it'll all be right  in God's timing!

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
