SISTERS DAY OUT AND BRITISH PANTRY TEA ROOM!

The last couple days has really been nice and warm. Temperature's of 82 and 84.  My three sisters and I decided it was a good time for a girls day out since the four of us hadn't gotten together in some time.  There's a tea room a friend told me about and I wanted to go try it out.  We all agreed to go after we shopped awhile.  This is the sign above the door.  My two younger sisters had never been to a tea room, much less drink hot tea from a teacup.  They really enjoyed it and I do believe they'll be ready to go again. We have already found one we want to visit. It's close to one sister but a 2 and half hour drive for me, it'll be worth it.  The only thing about The British Pantry Tea Room was that it is in a strip mall, but nicely decorated inside.

When I got to the street my sister lives on, where we were to meet, I was so caught up in looking at all the flowers and trees blooming that I drove right by her house.

It is so pretty, just two doors from her house. Macon has so many Cherry Trees. They had their Cherry Blossom Festival last week.
You can read more about it here at Southern Daydreamer Outdoor Wednesday.

Here we are waiting on our food. Linda took this photo so I took one of her by herself.

While we were waiting I just had to take some photo's of the teacups and teapots.

I love this teapot! No I didn't buy it, but I did have to slap my hands and tell myself,,,"No, Sylvia, No"!!!

Our food came and it all look and tasted really good.

(I had already stared eating before I remembered to get a photo)

I didn't realize at the time but I ordered three salads~~~ Chicken Salad, Potato Salad and a toss Salad.  And these Scones were sooooooo gooooood...I cut each one in half and shared with my sisters.  Lemon Curd and whipped cream, yummy !!

Ok, we shopped till we dropped and then got up and shopped some more. On our way back we stopped at Steak and Shake and got a milk shake. We had laughed and teased each other all day, acting like teenagers.  It is good for the soul to be silly from time to time.

Alright I did buy a tea cup at the tea room. I couldn't have the teapot so I got a cup, good compromise, right!
Don't you love the little girl inside the cup?
The place mats were a good find on sale at Kohl's. So Springy.

Now my little weeping Cherry Tree isn't as grand as the one on Sharon's street, and every year I tell myself "I'm going to have it cut down" It's really old. But then it looks pretty the next year and I change my mind.

Today when I was walking Madi, look what I saw on it's limbs. My daughter told me that the butterfly is a sign that I'm not to cut it down. "Don't give up on me," it's saying.

Maybe she's right since I don't believe in 'giving up', have faith it'll all be right  in God's timing!

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

Sylvia

Sisters going out to a Tea Room. What a lovely outing.

And how beautiful Spring is, in your area. Gorgeous. Oh and please don't cut down that old tree. If it is still blossoming like that, it is stilllllll full of life.

Gentle hugs,
