Camping Trip

Hi there, I've been away for a few days!
Enjoying some fresh air and sunshine!

Hubby loves to sit by the water and watch the boats coming and going.

Before long the ducks came a visiting.

This is what they are after.....bread!

Then there's two more....

Two more ducks and then, you have,,,,

Ducks coming from everywhere!

ducks everywhere !!

Now they are full so they sit and watch the boat show with us.

They come and go all day.

With inter tubes they pull the children all  over the lake.

On their seadoo's zipping around so fast at times it is hard to get a good photo of them.

They do make pretty waves on the water.

Yes, here goes another boat!

Madi enjoyed her walks around the campground.

Hubby had several doctors appointments
back to back for a couple days, for follow-ups,
so we took our Vintage Camper
and stayed in a campground not far from town
to keep from going back and forth.

Every day is a blessing,
I hope you are having one!

Sylvia

That looks like a great place for a bit of R&R, a good place to stay between appointments.

What a glorious place to spend a few days in your vintage camper van, dearest Sylvia! Your pictures are so lovely, and I love the sweet ducks...reminds me of when I was a little girl and Mom would take me to feed the ducks! Special memories...
Hugs to you, Sylvia! Have a blessed and beautiful day in the Lord!

Even I, the non-camper, could sit and watch the water ripple, and the boats going by, and feed the ducks. :-)

Don't you just "not-like-at-all" those days of constant doc visits? Etc. -sigh- Lovely that you could enjoy camping, during one of those spells. And I hope all the results, were good.

What a fun time you must have had! I haven't been camping in a while but I really love it....we used to tent camp quite often when our kids were little. This was certainly a lovely place to set up camp! Have a great Thursday!

Awww... I can feel your relaxation, Sylvia.
How sweet that your dear hubby enjoyed sitting and watching the ducks and feed them as well. :-) They appeared to enjoy him too.
What a great idea to stay closer to your doctor's so you do not have to travel back and forth.
I will be praying all goes well and a good report comes your way.

Enjoy the remainder of your time there by that lovely lake, sweet friend.

Bless you, Debbie

We love going camping...both of us like to fish so that's what we do when we go to the lake.
Regarding the white sofa I want...the slipcovers are washable and several friends have them and LOVE them...throw in the washer, bleach, dry and good to go....sooo much easier than trying to keep an upholstered sofa clean.
I just hope I can get the one I want but don't see a trip to Dallas any time soon. :(
