Every Spring when the first flowers of the year start to bloom, I love to visit my sister, Doris. She has the prettiest yard and even though she has RA, she still works in her garden. Last week she called to tell me they were blooming. So off to her house for an hours drive, to visit and see the new blooms. These photo's doesn't do it justice, since I'm not a photographer!
Just a want to be!
So up the steps we go to the back area.
See the frog on the fence!
Here she has raked the leaves with plans to plant more flowers.
I gave my brother-in-law this swinging frog several years ago for his birthday. He collects frogs, not real ones!
Inside the covered area, there's a swing.
And this is just part of her back yard. Maybe next time I'll get the other side, since she hasn't finished it, and the front yard.
Hope you have enjoyed the tour.
Have a blessed day!
Sylvia

Sylvia, I loved seeing your sisters yard. I can just imagine how nice to sit out there in summer and hear the birds and see the beautiful flowers. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo,Susie
Very pretty!
Oh, my...,how beautiful and so much work. What a blessing she can still get outside and work.
How beautiful! She keeps herself quite busy, that is wonderful.
I love your header by the way. :)
Blessings~~
What a pretty place! It must be very peaceful to garden there.
Really lovely! My sister "Doris" also is quite the gardener! She has the green thumb in our family. Must be something in the name! Thank you for sharing. It really is a beautiful garden!
Hi Sylvia, thank you for the lovely tour of your sister's garden. It's very pretty and inviting, I love all the decorative pieces she has included and the swinging frog is quite cute. Enjoy the rest of your week. Kelly
Hi Sylvia,
What a grand way to spend the day. It's so nice to be close enough to pop in the car and go visit her pretty gardens. Hope you had a wonderful Easter.
I did enjoy your tour. Your sister's yard looks like a pretty place to sit and enjoy the day. AND I loved the frogs!
Thank you for inviting me into your sister's yard! What a cool idea with the frogs!
so very lovely.
What a pretty yard, it did my heart and eyes good to see it. Our grass is getting green, but snow is predicted for saturday. That's Apr 2, we don't want any then!!For some one with RA your sister does a lot more than a healthy person. That's the way it is sometimes. My sister has fibromyalgia and she works harder than some people too.
That is an incredibly beautiful garden, Sylvia! Love it! We live up north and have the early spring bulbs flowering now. What a wonderful time of year!
So gorgeous, and very heartwarming!
Well how wonderful that you made the trip to enjoy the blooms. Spring time is so pretty. Hugs, Roxy

I like the small, container gardens....i am so lazy.
Your sister's garden is so pretty already. It must be heavenly when it's in full bloom. I love gardening...getting excited.
