HAPPY OCTOBER AND TEA PARTY

Another month gone by!
In Ecclesiastes 3:1-9, it tells us that there is
a time for every season. We know that our
season changes but God's is always the same,
He never changes, He's the same today, yesterday and forever. That is so assuring to me, that He is faithful in every season of my life.

A few weeks ago my granddaughter ask me if I would have a Tea Party for her so she could bring
her best friend that hadn't been to one. Of course
I said yes. I only have two granddaughter's and I started having tea parties with them when they were old enough to walk. They always had a good time and I love that they enjoy a cup of hot tea.

This is Anna and her friend Samantha.
Anna is my granddaughter on the right.

We all had fun laughing and planning our
next outing.

I got my hubby to take this photo of us at the table.
He had to eat in the living room.
He didn't mind, just so he had food!

We had chicken salad wraps, scones with
Lemon Curd, Cinnamon Pumpkin rolls,
Chicken Salad (not in wraps) Fruit, and
too many sweets!
I had several different kinds of tea for
them to chose from.

Our tummies were filled and our hearts
warmed. A good time was had by all.

Until next time,
Have a blessed Day!

I have a 30 year old grandaughter and our times are still special...only now she brings the tea party to us! These traditions will stay in the young minds forever.

That was nice that your granddaughter wanted to have a tea party with you. That sounds like something I'd like to do with my granddaughters when they get older. The food looks so Yummy, and my mouth is watering over the scones with the lemon drizzling all over it. What a special and memorable day, Sylvia.
