Victorian Shoe & Praise

Let your eyes look right on, and let your gaze be straight before you.  Watch the path of your feet, and let all your ways be estabished.  Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove your foot from evil.  Proverbs 4:24-27

This post is about the lesson I have learned in the last three days.   No matter what the  trails we go thought, don't take your eyes off Jesus, keep your ways and walk with Him.  HE is in control and will work it all to your good if you love Him and trust it to Him!

The last few days my husband and I have been dealing with a personal situation of extreme concern. But thanks be to God, he took control and all turned out OK..

This shoe represents my walking in faith trusting my Lord to be my help in my times of trouble.

Lamentations 3:22-23
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

My daughter gave me these shoes for Mother's Day this year.  I really don't know what they are to be used for.  They look like they are made of plaster, but I'm not sure.

This is the back and front.

I am using this one to keep pencils and pens in for now.
It isn't opened all the way down the shoe, just in the top.

Maybe a small potted plant could be placed in it.

Got any ideas!

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

What a wonderful post about the strength of your faith, Sylvia!

I am glad things are better for you - I will send up some prayers for you both, too.

As for an idea with that neat shoe - which may be resin? Many of them are............perhaps an air fern? It doesn't require any maintenance at all and will provide pretty live greenery with zero water or soil needs?

It's so pretty.

Have a blessed day.

Faith is an amazing thing and it's wonderful how it can lift us up when we feel life is hard.

I love the shoe and I think both of the ideas above are excellent.
