Janurary National Hot Tea Month

Did you know that January is
National Hot Tea Month!

I looked up National Hot Tea Month on the
internet and it said " Tea is the second most
popular beverage in the world next to water."
Yes, in the WORLD!
You can read about all the good that tea does
for you HERE

The article said that Tea flavonoids may help increase metabolism and fat oxidation. Now
that may help us with our New Years Resolution to lose weight.

Other than strengthening our metabolism and fat oxidation it helps maintain hydration and so much more.
I have always enjoyed a cup of hot tea, now I know it does so much more for me than warm me up inside on a cold winter's day.

Maybe it is Time to have a cup!

HAVE A TEA-LIGHTFUL DAY!

Sylvia, I like the pictures of you enjoying a cup of tea with one of your blessings. :):) I bought a big box of tea bags this fall and split it with two of my daughters and myself. I still have a few bags left, now I may go more. Blessings to you, stay warm and safe. xoxo, Susie

I wish I liked tea, but I never have. Maybe I need to try some different flavors. Love the pictures of your tea party...so very cute!

Tea was the highlight of Christmas gifts I gave this past year to the (hopeful) daughters in law. One girl prefers loose leaf tea, the other prefers single serving bags. As a tea lover myself, I had fun shopping for just the right flavors, and cups to enjoy them!

Thank you Sylvia, I think I will have a Tea-lightful day and enjoy a cup of hot tea. I just happen to have some that a dear friend sent to me. Hope you're staying warm and cozy, we have a high of 70 forecast for Sunday. WoW, crazy weather.

I am actually having a cup of tea right now while I read your post! Yes, I agree with all of the above you said about it. A cup of hot tea not only warms me up, but it cheers me up and calms me down. It just helps me to relax and contemplate what God is saying to me each day. And it is such a delightful way to visit with friends and "sisters in the Lord". Thank you for this interesting and "TEAlightful" post today! You know I'm a big fan!!

Happy New Year! I look forward to visiting more in the new year.
Great tea post-I think every month is hot tea month for me. :)
I like your photos from tea time. Going out to afternoon tea or hosting at my house is such a meaningful experience. Love your Royal Albert January teacup. I would love to collect all twelve of them.

I didn't know that January was tea month. I think that's great. I love tea but stopped drinking a lot of it due to it having the capacity to keep me awake more than coffee does. But I still love my cuppa. These days I drink a lot of rooibus tea from South Africa. Very good for you and also decaf. I enjoyed all your photos in this beautiful post.

I have never been a fan of hot tea but I wish I liked it. I can see where tea would be relaxing though.
Im a big fan of coffee. I love my coffee every morning. My tea has to be cold and sweet.

Fun photos at the end :) I am just having a hot cup of tea before heading off to bed. I like to start my day with two cups of tea at breakfast and again in the evenings and coffee in between - usually.

I think we drank Sweet Iced Tea every day growing up in Georgia. Now I enjoy a cup of hot tea during this cold weather in Indiana. I like your photos!
